Berlin's Powel has been a longtime friend of Do Not Sit, releasing his first EP on the label back in 2018 and most recently remixing George X's 'Slice of Life', and performing numerous times at our club home in Miami. We welcome his return with the new four track EP, 'Back To The Beginnings'.

Created with his signature touch of elegance and rhythm, the works straddle between the deep and organic. Leading with the harmonious nuances of 'Iche Warte.' into the title track's atmospheric pulses, and followed by the vitality of 'Samba Par Ty', and rounding out with the beautiful vocal spirits of 'Whatever'.

[PIRANHA SIBERIA DUB] presents the fresh 35th release "Envelope Depth EP" by Croatian dub techno maestro Davor Tosovic (@davortosoviclive). This mini-album, comprised of three original tracks and six remixes by artists such as Roman Ridder (@roman-ridder), Seabra Monkey (@seabra_monkey), Oldschool_Dubtechno .Producer (@enercube and @x_fr), Liuos (@liuos), re:fraction (@sound-driven-society) and Giuliano Rodrigues (@givlianno), deserves special attention.

"Envelope Depth" refers to the amount of modulation applied to the envelope generator in a synthesizer. This parameter determines the envelope's impact on sound characteristics over time, such as volume, pitch, or filter cutoff. In this album, each track experiments with this concept, offering a unique sonic journey.

Davor Tosovic and his fellow craftsmen, who crafted special remixes for this mini-album, invite listeners to explore the depths of sound space, transporting them into the world of dub techno. From dramatic transitions to subtle nuances, "Envelope Depth EP" offers a wide spectrum of sonic emotions and impressions, making it an excellent choice for all lovers of quality electronic music.

The summer season kicks off an exciting collection of releases from the 'Nie Wieder Schlafen' family. The perfect start to the hottest time of the year is delivered by a great friend and talented artist, Daniël Van Der Zwaag.

With a different and unique perspective of atmospheric driven productions, Daniel is able to create two blissful tracks, which enter a smooth and dreamy state of tension. 

Main title track "Reïncar" opens up gently with a full range of atmospherics and slowly introduces a very nice set of percussions, that help thrive the endless spaces of this wide and open story.

Remixes by Bengal and Nagelbrett, cover-art designed by Giulia Gallizzi and mastered by Robert Trifunović.

'For their third release Dawn Till Dusk, feature two highly creative artists uniting to create something exceptional. Jamie Stevens needs no introduction, and as one-third of the award-winning Australian act Infusion, he has crafted an envious portfolio. His solo work is a regular feature on imprints from Bedrock to microCastle, and his engineering excellence is all over the recent Balance presents Uone release. Joe Miller is an English-born, Australian-based musical alchemist, whose podcasts are more works of art than DJ sets. His striking brand of progressive is catching the attention of an array of global melodic masters from Guy J to Nick Warren. Together, these two singular producers have collaborated in the past on All Day I Dream, and now they take centre stage on Dawn Till Dusk…

First single ‘Peninsula’ is a beautiful trek through vocal and sitar-sounding samples. The cosmic collection of melodic arrangements almost creates it’s own sense of call-and-response, evoking highly stimulating images of open seas and coastal drives.

‘Kapunda’ is gifted with a highly laidback temperament. Bell-like tones and percussive hits gently roll through the bars: Close your eyes and you could be taking a slow stroll through the sleepy Adelaide town it’s named after.

The 6 minute beauty of ‘Pluto’ is an ambient gem. A very celestial melody is saturated in the analogue tape hiss of Boards of Canada, building to a very exquisite crescendo which slowly fades out of existence - much like the ex-planet Pluto.

Luke Sambe and Filter Bear combine for an smooth and exotic take on ‘Peninsula’ that demands repeated listens. Plucked instruments and percussive hits flow in out of your consciousness like a deep MDMA dream, one you wish you never wake up from.'
