'Belarusian born but now firmly ensconced in his adopted Polish home, Kostya Outta continues to blossom after a decade spent honing his craft. Now, making his Proportion debut, Kostya releases "On Waves" for the Dmitry Molosh led imprint.

Equally at home behind the decks, myriad performances at gigs and festivals across Europe in Warsaw, Barcelona and Hamburg, has led to shared stage appearances with the likes of Robert Babicz, Aly & Fila and Dmitry Molosh himself. In the studio, a connoisseur of the underground dance scene with a sound that has evolved into a blend of fascinating rhythms and atmospheric melodies, Kostya Outta has seen over 200 production credits grace some of the finest modern labels since a 2012 debut for Deep Nota. From Afterglow Records and Mango Alley to Deepwibe Underground and Statement!, the Kostya Outta portfolio continues to grow apace, supported by such esteemed figures as Guy J, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo.   

Now making his first appearance on Proportion, “On Waves” is an elegantly imagined offering that opens with a heavy beat, crisp rhythmic shell and cadenced clave pattern. A muted arpeggio weaves its magic as sumptuous pads and evolving sonic textures create a dense and swirling atmosphere. White-noise sequences pulsate at the breakdown as motifs extend their reach before snare rolls and pitched risers herald a return to the club-friendly combination of rhythm and melody in the second half.   Riding high, Kostya Outta is “On Waves” with his stunning new music for Proportion.'

Manual Music is proud to announce its next big project. It's done by Dutch rising stars Callecat and titled 'Symbiosis'.

For 'Symbiosis' the guys took a unique approach; asking their producer friends and artists they admire to create a song together. After locking themselves up in the studio for a year they ended up with a whole bunch of collaborations, two of which you'll find here on the first single.

The release kicks off with 'State Of Mind', a joined effort between Callecat and Manual Music head honcho Paul Hazendonk. A proper rough and rugged piece of peak time progressive house music made to set the dancefloor on fire!

'Unified Formulas' marks their collaboration with prolific producer Meeting Molly and serves as a welcome contradiction compared to 'State Of Mind'. 'Unified Formulas' is more laid back with its dreamy melodic soundscapes combined with organic progressive beats and percussion.

Two songs that showcase both sides of the Callecat spectrum, and a perfect first sneak peek on what to expect of the 'Symbiosis' project!

An artist with a diverse and storied relationship with the dance music scene, GMJ & Matter are proud to see Kasper Koman make his label debut with the twin-track "Sinking Sky / Biome". A veteran of more than a century of production credits dating back to a 2008 debut, Kasper Koman has seen his work signed to myriad high-profile labels including the likes of Plattenbank, Anjunadeep and Guy J's Lost & Found. From central Netherlands, Kasper has combined trademark emotion with a powerful and evocative sound that has seen his music supported by such leading tastemakers as Guy Mantzur, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J himself. Now debuting on Meanwhile, the "Sinking Sky" opener is characterised by a driving beat and metronomic hi-hat pattern. A running 16th note bassline pattern enters the fray in the second movement with a fizzing vibrancy provided by resonating and filtered effects. A cast of additional characters add to the overall sonic landscape including a beautifully juxtaposed pad progression. A spine-tingling breakdown provides acetylene-edged emotion via the extended bassline motif, before hitting its stride once more in the latter stages to wondrous effect and no small amount of production talent. "Biome" continues the narrative of raw effects-laden power, while a strong kick lays the foundation for a piercing percussive groove, adding swing to the off-beat. A well-crafted sonic palette supplies a soft chord progression of Kraftwerk-inspired imagination as a meandering array of well-placed effects, white-noise washes and rasping bass notes create a mosaic of sounds. The result is a hypnotic, angular offering that keeps listener interest piqued without a central melody seeing the 6-minute piece fly past in an instant.
