After a slightly longer break, Niconé & Sascha Braemer are finally back on Stil vor Talent. Their ‚Stay feat. Limon’ EP instantly showcases that the wait has been worth it though. On the title track, the trio creates a fusion of romantic synth leads, sensuous vocals and areal strings. ‘Tell Me’, also featuring Limon, is no less epic, but aims straight for the peak time with the help of driving chords and a healthy dose of bass. Next to the two hot originals, the Spaniard Henry Saiz delivers a remix reminiscent of The Human League. A creaking bass-line, crystalline synths and a distant vox catapult you straight to the 80s. The things that dreams are made of!

Across its seven-and-a-half minute run, Angenehm and Bachmann patiently inject layers of glistening synths, organic, flickering percussive textures and a haunting strings into the track creating a gorgeous, floating piece of house music. "Golden Road" is a perfect preview for what's to come from Angenehm's LP, Miss Jean, which will land on Save Us later in the year, backed by remixes from Bedouin and Just Her. About the EP :
Kieran Apter returns to Chapter 24 after last year’s debut hit ‘All I Want’ and scoring releases on Anjunadeep and Hommage.

This time, the head honcho and resident DJ of Edinburgh party ‘Tweak_’ delivers four standout original cuts, with an Editions EP slated for later in 2018.

The EP rolls straight into title track ‘The Mirror’. Hooky percussion and warm cosmic reverb atmospheres give way to a relentless bass and synth stab pattern guaranteed to get dancefloors grooving.

‘Without’ sees Apter resume his successful collaboration with Leon Power. Power’s trademark haunting vocal and production marks a driving and emotional, forward-looking track.

‘Babylon {Club Dub}’ is next up, melding punchy drums and rolling bass arpeggios with wistful synth lines and chorus-drenched vintage pads.

Closing things out is ‘Remember’, the artist’s tribute to those who lost their lives or were otherwise affected by London’s Grenfell Tower disaster. This dark, dislocated piece of techno samples words spoken by British-Jamaican dub poet Linton Kwesi Johnson in the aftermath of the 1981 New Cross Fire and channels Apter's anger and sadness at last year’s horrific and avoidable human tragedy. All profits from sales of ‘Remember’ will be donated to the British Red Cross London Fire Relief Fund.

Both deep and emotional, functional and meaningful, ‘The Mirror’ EP presents four stories in sound that reflect the power of dance music to move us.

'Berlin duo Kotelett & Zadak have released a steady stream of kooky tracks on Exploited Ghetto over the last few years amidst other outings for the likes of Poker Flat Recordings. You can always count on them to deliver some potent material for the dancefloor, and this new pack doesnt fail to excite.

"Sam Same" hooks you in with its rapid-fire metallic percussion and a pulsing lead synth which is full of drama and suspense. Ticking hi-hats drive the track along as subtle washes of reverb swell gently beneath. A resonant, bubbling 8-bit style synth rears its head from time to time with cartoon-like charisma. Shrieking, muted organ-like sounds add more colour still in the break. A nagging arpeggio builds the intensity further as sleek hi-hats pick up the energy further. These constituent parts could easily be combined into something overblown and intense, but the subtlety displayed throughout is a far more powerful option.'
