Plaisirs Sonores Records is thrilled to announce the release of the 'Dual EP' by dynamic producer, Kabi (AR).

Continuing our mission to deliver captivating soundscapes that push the boundaries of electronic music, this new release will be available on all major platforms from July 28th, 2023.

Kabi, known for his evocative soundscapes, returns with a two-track progressive house masterpiece. With previous signings on renowned labels like Replug and The Soundgarden, Kabi (AR) is no stranger to crafting tunes that echo within the soul and leave listeners yearning for more.

The 'Dual EP' aptly commences with the title track 'Dual,' a rolling progressive house number imbued with resonant synth work and infectious melodies. The tune, like its name suggests, plays on the duality of music - its capacity to energize and soothe, making it a versatile addition to any DJ's set.

Meanwhile, the second track, 'Spicy,' offers a darker, more intense experience. This peak time banger, loaded with hypnotic repetitive synths, is tailored for the throbbing pulse of the dancefloor. Its compelling rhythm and tantalizing progression are guaranteed to immerse listeners in an exhilarating sonic journey.

Label founders Hicky and Kalo are already advocates for this release. They shared their experience, stating: "We've played these tracks a few times at Stereo Montreal and New York with great success. They always work so well in a club setting. The reception has been fantastic, and we can't wait for the audience at large to experience these tunes."

'Dual EP' is a compelling testament to Kabi's musical prowess and a proud addition to Plaisirs Sonores Records' growing catalogue. Niceshot has found his way back on MNL with two excellent deep progressive house cuts.

Known for his trademark warm and smooth sound, Argentina based Jonatan Perez aka Niceshot has made quite the name for himself by releasing his music on famous labels such as Mango Alley, UV, Manual Music, The Soundgarden and many others.

Now he's back presenting his latest two productions 'Mental Combat' and 'Diffuse Voices', two songs that will elevate your spirits during days of sunshine and feel like a warm blanket on a cold winter day.

Sound Avenue opens the month of October with a new single from label boss Madloch and frequent studio partner Subnode. Now approaching five years in their creative partnership, the Belgian duo has continued to build on their creative synergy, in turn compiling a catalog of resonant worldly sounds, one which has delighted a broad spectrum of electronic tastemakers in Eelke Kleijn, Laurent Garnier and Nick Warren. Often incorporating elements of dub, deep and progressive house; the duo’s cleverly coaxed creations dive into a whirlpool of spiralling directions; a trait which makes each one of their new projects much-anticipated. With the year being highlighted by the recently released two-track showcase ‘A Fading Dream’, Madloch and Subnode now combine their extensive forces once again, returning to Sound Avenue with the thoughtful ‘September Day’, alongside remixes from Monojoke, Fabri Lopez and DOT.

Musique de Lune opens the fall season by welcoming VITE and Hole Box to the label for their debut EP. Hailing from Mexico, both VITE and Hole Box have emerged from their country's avant-garde electronic landscape with a distinctive organic sound. Noted for their attention to detail, arcane musicality and inventive drum arrangements, the duo's craft shines through vividly, making each one of their creations an absorbing experience. The duo's combined discography is highlighted by releases via trendsetting imprints such as Akbal Music, TOR, Tale & Tone and more, while the genre's premiere DJs have been steadfast with support along the way. Having previously worked on a project for Akbal Music, VITE and Hole Box now combine their extension forces once again, making their much anticipated Musique de Lune debut with 'Midway', alongside a remix from Ilias Katelanos & Plecta. 

Continuing to evolve and impress, VITE & Hole Box deliver one of their most thematic creations to date in 'Midway'. Warm punchy beats and a rolling groove set the foundation for a smooth flow into heartfelt vocal samples, dusty percussive arrangements and a gorgeous array of orbiting effects. Mood continues to rise across the main break as fluttery motifs and harmonic refrains fade off into aquatic designs, as the beats re-emerge and the vocal flows through further evolution for a finale that should fare very well on all the daytime dancefloors out there. 'Emotional Things' proves to be a worthy compliment with it's exotic drum flurries and key changing buoyancy. Almost childlike sounding with it's playful creative lean, this is one of those feel good, unite the dancefloor type tunes for those sunrise moments.

Completing the release are Ilias Katelanos & Plecta who provide the lone interpretation of 'Midway'. Greek artist Ilias Katelanos is no stranger to the label having released 'Sud' as part of the 'Rumba Del Sud' EP earlier this year, while Plecta makes his debut following projects for Akbal Music, Melody of the Soul, Songuara, Tale & Tone and The Soundgarden. As occasional studio partners of late, the duo continue to build on their creative synergy with a gorgeous take on 'Midway'. Ilias and Plecta take straight aim at the dance floor with a beefed up, swing heavy groove which works amazingly well, and while the main themes of the original are present, they work in a more groove-centric context, keeping the full seven-minute journey both danceable and emotive to round out the release on a strong note. Highly recommended.

'Following on from the label’s inaugural release, JFR’s Secret Feelings welcomes Lucas Zárate to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from Argentina, Lucas Zárate first emerged in 2022 with releases via Balkan Connection South America, Bekool Records, Droid9 South America and RYNTH. Immediately recognized for his organic and progressive sounds, the Tucumán resident would quickly earn the support of Gorje Hewek, Modd, Nick Warren and many more. 2023 has proved to be a breakout year for Lucas, building on the success of his early releases, the fast rising phenom has added trendsetting organic imprints Melody of the Soul, Peace Symphonies and RADI MIRA I LUBVI to his resume, while remaining a beloved DJ as part of his country’s burgeoning nightlife. Now, continuing on an upwards trajectory, Lucas makes his debut on Secret Feelings with ‘Esporas’.'
