'Lapsus Music welcome US house icon Paul Johnson as he delivers his latest single ‘You Drive Me Crazy’, accompanied by a remix from label founders Supernova.
A staple name within US house history, Paul Johnson’s musical accolades stand apart from most within the industry – releasing material via the likes of Dance Mania, Cajual, Relief, and Moody Recordings, the home of his legendary 1999 anthem ‘Get Get Down’. Following material via Patrick Topping’s Trick and an EP on Downtown Underground, the Chicago- native heads to Lapsus Music to deliver his latest single ‘Drive Me Crazy’ featuring Zoe Thorn, backed by a slick remix from label bosses Supernova. With releases via Defected, 8Bit, and elrow Music to name a few, plus their recent single ‘Lovely Summer Dreams’ on Blackboard which recently reached #3 in Beatport’s Deep House chart, the Italian pairing arrive in rich form and this momentum translates directly into their impactful take on the production.
Johnson’s original opens the package as he lays down commanding basslines beneath warping, escalating synths and Thorn’s hypnotic vocals, whilst Supernova’s take on the cut introduces breaks-influenced percussion, ever- evolving acid-tinged leads, and atmospheric builds and breaks to shape up the EP in style.'

Roberto Pagliaccia makes his debut on the long running and ever essential Lapsus Music with a new single that comes with a remix from the venerated Prok & Fitch. 

Out Of Tune feat. Mizbee is the sort of fresh and popping house tune that brings real vibes to the club. The chunky drums are run through with a taught bassline and a steamy female vocal up top really brings the heat as a twisted bassline adds some naughtiness. 

Prok & Fitch then step up and get freaky with a perfectly primed tune for the afters. The glitchy hits, tightly woven beats and slick minimal groove really gets you going, while that fine vocal also appears to bring more layers of freshness.

Renowned for his ability to bring creativity and flair to his wild remixes, edits and re-edits, Riva Starr is a hugely welcome new addition into the Saved fold. Bringing a special collection of new edits, the producer displays the kind of dexterity that has made him so impossible to pigeonhole over the last decade. First up, Riva delivers a driving and energetic mashup of Roland Clark’s “Your First Time” and Paul C & Paolo Martini’s “Take Some Time.” Frenetic percussion in the top end and futuristic FXs create a party-focused pace as the dubby atmospheres and pumping beats add the power and momentum. The ghetto-funk vocal adds another dimension to make this Riva’s own personal homage to the history of house music. The raw edit of “Chasing Autumns” by Taras Van De Voorde continues that exploration further, tapping into a unique mix of classic sounding house with rich piano chords and emotive strings; and a modern, raw sounding warehouse energy that burns and stomps away underneath. Long-time German house label Kittball welcome Italian pair The Deepshakerz for two more of their effective dance floor detonators.
This duo of Domy Berardino and Mirco Sonatore are real musical magpies who draw from old school, new school, Chicago, afro, vocal and tech styles to cook up their high impact sounds. They are favoured by DJs like Luciano, Dubfire and Loco Dice and land on highly visible labels like Saved and Snatch! amongst many others.
Opener ‘Caipirinha’ is as steamy and tropical as it sounds thanks to the well-treated female vocal line that adds fiery soul up top. The clattering drums and hits are perfectly raw and bristling and sure to pump up the energy levels on any dance floor.
Showing off another side to their sound is the deliciously deep and dynamic ‘Faded Rainbow.’ With another anthemic vocal drifting up top, warm drums and crisp percussion carve out a serious groove below. Plenty of smart effects, clever fills and studio tricks ensure this one cannot fail to standout.

'Berlin's finest duo Luna City Express are close to celebrating their 20th anniversary in the music scene in 2020, and we are extremely happy to welcome them on Lapsus Music for their last EP before the celebrations. We had the pleasure to have them on board earlier in 2019 with a track featuring house vocal master Roland Clark. Shortly after, the duo, alongside Robert Owens came out with a great 5 tracker EP on Exploited Ghetto. Norman Weber & Marco Resmann are now back on the label with a solid and engaging deep tech track showcasing their passion for evolving synth patches and raw house beats. On the remix duty, we called on board the Italian fast-rising duo, Brokenears that have retouched the track in perfect style with their unmistakable house groove and rolling disco bass. We definitely see this EP crashing the dance floors of every dark and smokey underground rooms all over the world. '

Lapsus Music is the label founded by Emiliano Nencioni and Giacomo Godi, a.k.a Supernova.
LM was created in 2008 when Supernova's music ideas spread abroad, after years of testing and research; this was a point of no return: from now on everything becomes concrete and evolve.
Through Lapsus Music, Supernova want to experiment different sounds. Starting from one music concept, they aim to produce their own music, release others' one music to create a kind of an open lab where they can work with deejays and producers from all over the world, sharing a new language.
Lapsus is the virtual “square” where artists from different places in the world can meet and share their ideas and opinions, looking for a sound and  “music worlds”  continuously changing.
Until now, the label has hosted a lot of new talents and big names who have always alternated with a great sinergy.
