The acclaimed German artist once again outdoes himself with a majestic and virtuosic release. Young rising star 19:26 and the always elegant Radeckt accentuate the brightness with 2 remixes of superb quality.

"Geiger" is the opening piece. With an imposing declaration of intent, we enter into a relentless rhythm. Accompanied by pads that lead you into a feeling of euphoria and culminate in an explosion of sensations. A majestic composition destined for the dancefloor.

19:26 is one of the gala guests at this show and performs his version of "Geiger". An artist who has burst onto the scene with his great talent and his peculiar way of interpreting music. He delights us with his journey of melodies and atmospheres that transport you through space and time.

Radeckt presents his particular vision of "Geiger". With his characteristic elegance and sound, he shows off his creative skills with a subtle and seamless production. A marked rhythm accompanied by joyful and mysterious melodies that end in a sensory explosion.

"Circles & Cicles" puts the finishing touch with a frenetic track. Braemer unloads all his potential to sign a rough and fierce discourse. Squeezing the synthesizers to the maximum to emit punctures to the eardrum. Not suitable for sensitive ears.

Artwork by Nuria Baena. For this special release, the artist captures the fusion of the human being with a musical instrument, in this case the violin. Representing the union that exists between the musician and the instrument, as if it were part of it.

As a standout and highly requested track in Maceo Plex sets over the last year, his Ellum Audio label finally releases Raxon's 'The Cage of Love,' an epic cover of trance classic 'Age of Love'. 

The original 'Age of Love' is a genre and era-defining tune. Despite its legendary status, Raxon is an artist who is more than up to the challenge of reinterpreting it for contemporary dance floors. The Egyptian-born, Barcelona-based artist is an underground mainstay with a fantastic album on Kompakt, top singles on Ellum Audio and Cocoon Recordings and gigs all over the world. He has teased this track at many of them, and it has never failed to light up the dance floor. 

'The Cage Of Love' has an all-new techno feel with a taught bassline and slapping drum funk. The lead synths are molten and futuristic, while the original's vocal adds the iconic hook. The track builds in layers, teasing and then pleasing when it finally drops as the dance floor explodes and the laser-like synths spray about the mix with a life of their own. 

The vinyl comes with extended and instrumental mixes, while digital downloads include the radio edit and extended mixes.

On the heels of his stunning January-released 2-tracker Nóstra Dóna De La Gárdia, which included a Nick Muir rework, French progressive maestro Jickow returns with another slick double-sider, 'Escapism / Echoes'. Both tracks encapsulate the essence of Jickow’s darker, peak-time-primed sound, contrasting his last EP, which boasts rich, ethereal sonic textures. The Escapism / Echoes EP is due for release on June 9th.

The project leads with 'Escapism,' an immersive journey through haunting melodies and driving rhythms that create a sense of otherworldliness. The pulsing bassline and intricate percussion weave together seamlessly to create a hypnotic atmosphere that is both introspective and euphoric. Sasha Carassi joins forces with the one and only Danny Tenaglia…

You can’t beat a good collaboration, but when it’s Sasha Carassi and the legendary Danny Tenaglia, the ears have to prick-up a wee bit more - pairings like this just don’t come around all that often! The story is made even more poignant as both are label family members; Sasha has been releasing regularly on Renaissance, whilst Danny was last seen 15 years ago with his critically acclaimed ‘Futurism’ comp’.

And, in a fitting twist, ‘Automatik’ is a track that also began life over a decade ago, as Sasha explains, “I was in New York and Danny kindly invited me to his infamous Brooklyn loft, which was just inspiration itself, so we sat down in his studio there and ‘Automatik’ began, but it was just the germ of an idea at that point.”

“Then, over the years we just kept kicking it back forth,” says Danny, picking-up the story, “we’d tweak it and, of course, update it as genres and trends came and went. We had some real fun with it. Then there was the pandemic, so it wasn’t until the back end of last year we both felt the time was right to release it; ‘Automatik’ is a club record that needs full dancefloors for it to live its best life.”

The resulting track is a weapon of total discotheque destruction and everything you could hope for - it’s Giorgio Moroder converting to the dark side, meets the classic ‘Hard & Soul’ Tenaglia sound, all pinned by Sasha’s meticulous techno pedigree.

As if the original isn’t exciting enough, the pair also extended a remix invitation to Magdalena, who happily accepted and embraced the project with aplomb. Her version is a chunky slice of melodic house with an expanded riff that lingers long in the memory, as she explains, “With the original focusing more on percussive elements and sounds, I decided to add a harmonic touch. The dub vocals suit the new catchy lead line perfectly. Have fun with the remix!”
