“Creadoras” no es un compilado de mujeres haciendo música electrónica: es una invitación a crear desde la autenticidad, sin moldes, sin etiquetas, sin miedo.

Este proyecto nace como un puente entre las pioneras —esas mujeres que en medio de contextos profundamente adversos se atrevieron a experimentar y crear música con medios electrónicos— y las artistas que hoy elegimos crear desde un lugar genuino y libre.

No importa el género —musical, identitario, social— somos seres humanos creando.

El arte no nace del género, sino de nuestra esencia. Y cuando se manifiesta sin pedir permiso, el arte se vuelve real.

Hoy vemos cómo muchas veces se busca encajar: en un sonido, en una escena, en una estética aceptable.

No busca encajar, busca abrir espacios para el juego, la exploración, la voz propia y el arte.
Este no es un compilado para mujeres, es para quienes se reconocen artistas.

Crear no es una estrategia, es una necesidad vital.

'The latest release on Tash’s Movement Recordings finds the label showcasing the third installment of its ‘GLBLMVMT’ series. These region-specific compilations were first unveiled in 2018 with Federico Monachesi curating the progressive hotbed of Argentina. 2019 then saw Movement invite Paul Angelo & Don Argento to explore the up and coming Cyprus scene. Now travelling to India for 2020, Movement Recordings have called upon Aaryan to compile the third edition. Featured on the collection are (in order of appearance): Weird Sounding Dude, Midnight Traffic, Aaryan, Amol Reon, Jay Rei, Vridian and Future Culture. 

Long one of India’s most intriguing artists, Weird Sounding Dude leads the collection off in fine fashion. The Bangalore resident lays claim to an impressive discography, highlighted by releases on Juicebox Music, If You Wait, Kindisch, Plattenbank and Strange Town Recordings. Now landing on Tash’s Movement Recordings, Weird Sounding Dude presents the buoyant, groovy and playfully melodic ‘Twenty-One’.'

Mango Alley releases music suited for any "weather, timezone or season.” Its next pack conjures images of the tropical South Pacific! Owner and namesake, Mango, continues to make a long-awaited return to the scene. In just the last year, he's produced a couple remixes and collabs. The Russian luminary now joins forces with a red hot duo. Like many times before, TH;EN contributes melodic house and techno of the highest caliber. “Narere” sees another trending artist, Hannes Wiehager, debut on the label. Ahead of two in-house offerings, his take invokes heavy bass among intricate sound design.

Dee Montero returns to his newly formed Futurescope label with an alleviating single entitled ‘Aria’ including a remix from Newman.

Dee Montero does not stop. After an intense year playing across the globe whilst fitting in super-productive studio sessions in Bali and Belfast he’s back with his brand new label, Futurescope, and following on from the wide-ranging success and support of debut single ‘Sapphire’, is now returning with an even bigger record for the second release, ‘Aria’, which signals the next chapter in the evolution of Dee and his fast-developing imprint. With the label’s ethos bound to its core, the past, present and future of dance music sits in high regard with Futurescope. Dee Montero is widely known for being an adventurous artist with an uplifting production style which can be heard on previous releases on labels such as Ajunadeep, Diynamic, All Day I Dream and Knee Deep In Sound, and has received support from artists such as Peng Tong, Lee Burridge and Solomon. ‘Aria’ is a gentle, enlightening melodic house track created last year for Dee’s Robot Heart Burning Man set inspired by the playa sunrises featuring alluring piano keys, calming vocals and beautifully revolving melodies whilst the ‘Ambient Mix’ offers up a beatless version of the stunning original. Dee Montero invites NYC based Newman to remix the original who is a firm favourite of All Day I Dream and has releases on Do Not Sit On The Furniture and Tale + Tone. His remix is tribal roller featuring organic percussion, bright, fluttering synth and warm tones that pulsate throughout.

As prolific as he is talented, Michael A has been a central figure in the progressive house scene with occasional forays into melodic techno and electronica. Since a 2012 debut for Stereofaza, the Belarusian has seen almost 900 production credits against his name for a formidable array of high-profile imprints that include Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat, Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital and Cid Inc.'s Replug. Moreover, Michael's own Genesis Music imprint has been a vital source of music for both himself and a leading band of new and established artists. Support for a growing portfolio of releases has come from industry's leading DJs and tastemakers that include Guy J, Nick Warren, Max Graham and Cattaneo himself.

The subtle energy of "Flyaway" ripples enticingly forward atop cleverly programmed hi-hat and shaker cadence. Hitting its stride with consummate ease a glorious melodic evolution sees the track provide a moment of understated magic and delayed keys shimmer in overlapping delays over a growling and sustained bass note.
