We are proud to present the first official release of the very talented dj & producer Felipe van Lagerback based in Amsterdam.

After winning the X-mass Instruments for Change Remix Contest with his smashing remix we dove into his music production library. 

This resulted in the instant love for his track called “Trust”
This 7 minute epic melodic / Italo banger including his own almost opera sounding vocals gave us ghost bumps all over when we heard it for the first time. The dirty fat bass line and arpeggio’s give it that exact typical punchy dance floor experience. The song is created after a personal experience driving through the mountains with his girlfriend. Can you feel the urgency?

Lucky for you the legend @marcus-meinhardt took the remix duties this time. He delivered an even more straightforward dance floor destroyer than the original.

Known for their outstanding live performances, Leipzig-based duo mytripismytrip debuts on Heimlich Musik with the 34th EP of the label, delivering two original mixes accompanied by remix contributions from @buchneroberst, @gyrlz, and Kris Berle.

Opening the Rest and Relaxation EP Reva’s original mix features a foundation of thriving basslines and concise lead synths, completed by an interplay of various string sections, making it the dark passenger of the EP. Not My Type is a collaboration with Berlin-based duo Import Export that creates a euphoric vibe built on vocals, heading into an unexpected climax to be complemented by a dominant chord sequence that disrupts the mesmerizing song structure. 

Heimlich's very own Oberst & Buchner go down their path of using aggressive drum patterns and 80s synths for a retro-infused interpretation of Reva while comeback-boys GYRL make a statement with a slowed-down and bouncy remix, making sure there's enough bass on the dance floor. Kris Berle carries over the original's vibe in her remix of Not My Type by using the vocals as the center of attraction while making use of a repetitive but vibrant composition perfectly fitted for the early morning hours.

Rising techno talent Rodaq lands on Loot Recordings with a stellar new offering that features remixes from Uone, Yapacc and Schlepp Geist.

Rodaq grew up in Berlin and his sound takes in plenty of the city's strongest influences from the grit and rawness of Tresor and Berghain, to the decadence of Bar25. Now with Singapore as his base, he regularly serves his unique blend of undulating techno and trippy tech-house to dancers all over Europe and Asia and his first EP on Insist Music got props from Laurent Garnier, Riva Starr and Tim Green. Now he returns once more on Loot Recordings with more of his thrilling tunes.

Opener 'Pollock Hill' is a deep and rolling track with sustained chords that get you in a trance. The jumbled percussion keeps your body loose and the whole thing is designed for intimate back rooms. Australia and Balance Music's Uone takes us further into wonderland and gives this a deeper, hazy vibe on his remix. His interpretation kicks things into overdrive with the addition of dreamy guitar harmonies, lush piano chords, gorgeous operatic vocals and massive horn stabs that cut through the track. Rounding out the remixes on this one is fellow Berliner Yapacc who has been released by over 80 labels and remixed for Ricardo Villalobos. He incorporates the original synths, but amplifies it with dramatic drums, muscular percussion and a punchy, melodic bass line.

The second original is 'Phormosa', a dreamy, intricate affair of synth heavy bass lines, complex melodies and tension that builds in all the right places. It is one to slowly but surely cast a spell and take the floor to the next dimension. Leipzig based Schlepp Geist delivers a fine remix that fires up the energy with blurring melodies, relentless analog stabs and celestial synths that modulate and climax throughout the track.

These are four very different but hugely effective dance floor tracks that will light up the club.
