Hicky & Kalo are back on their own label Plaisirs Sonores Records with a brand new two-track EP as well as a brand new artwork design for their imprint.

The title track 'Arch Of Light' is a massive track with driving drums, a rolling bassline, an emotive pad melody and a great arpeggiator. The Canadian duo tries to open the progressive house field by blending some melodic techno and electro elements into the track like the use of vocoder vocals and epic synth stabs.

The second offering 'Time We Spent Together' is an ode to remembering "the time you spent with someone that no long is part of your live". It was made during sad time for the duo and you can feel the melancholia and sadness in the melody.

All in all, it's a beautiful EP for the upcoming duo.

After participating in the duos Nacional Electronica and I.A., Odax launched his solo career in the summer of 2021, releasing his first single on La Cura de la Semana. After that, he managed to work with Freegrant Music, and also got into the compilation from Cosmic Gate, which became a noticeable highlight of his career. Rodriguez Jr. and Giorgia Angiuli join minds on a surprising and exciting collaboration. The French-Italian connection delivers two diverse songs merging the stylistic signature of both artists. "Tuning The Moon" kicks off with deep house grooves and delicate piano notes draped over the top. Soft shakers and distant motifs add to a warm, rich and late night atmosphere as a subtle bassline sweeps you off your feet before the spine tingling really brings an emotional overload that will make a great impact in the club. "Your Dark Dreams" is another artistic house cut with piano chords that draw you into an intimate groove. The gentle drums unfold in delicate, heart broken fashion before a breakdown is defined by celestial keys and rueful female vocals.
