Ohm is one of the leading figures on the Icelandic contemporary techno scene, now taking over the Copenhagen scene where he is now based. Also, Octal Industries is from the beautiful city of Reykjavik in Iceland, now based in Tallinn, Estonia. Both stay true to their roots by consistently innovating their interpretation of techno music, integrating soul and innovation with the scene. Ohm & Octal Industries’ signature sounds are playful tribal grooves, ruff bass lines, smoked out sounds flying around and morphing vocal stabs. Constantly evolving their collaboration, production skills and always questioning the things around them.

On remix duty we welcome Sascha Dive as a new member to the Gartenhaus family. And we say hello again to a Gartenhaus favorite Talul whom also contributes with an astonishing remix.'

Irenic’s labelboss Roger Gerressen launches a new, special project for the labels new release. For this project, Roger invites two very talented artists to remix the well-known track ‘Faithful’ that he lately reissued, Steve O’Sullivan under his alias Bluetrain and Varhat.

On the A side we have the Bluetrain Special Edition Dub remix, which, as the title suggests, has an addictive dubby feel to it. Moreover, Bluetrain adds a punchy kick to complement the tracks flow, giving it a highly effective groove.

Varhat is in charge of the B side and gives Faithful a modern touch, keeping a similar structure to the original, yet adding a variety of deep pads and synths, accompanied by a rolling bassline. Perfect at any point in time throughout the night
