We're honored to premiere this amazing remix by one of our favorite producers; Fat Cosmoe. He remixed a beautiful track by the revelation from Belgium; Pelace. You might know from their beautiful ADE special guest mix released back in October 2022. The track is called 'Trapped Forever' and comes from the inaugural 'Echoes' album released on Dutch label Infinite Depth. We're mega happy to premiere our first track from that label since we're big fans. The Fat Cosmoe remix is part of a huge remix pack coming on the 24th of March, definitely check it out!

D.J. MacIntyre's SLC-6 Music opens the spring season by welcoming Ruben Karapetyan back to the label for his debut single. Following a ten-year hiatus, the Armenian-born, USA-based artist made a triumphant return to electronic music in 2020 with a series of the releases via Mango Alley, Movement Recordings and Univak. On the strength of his fresh, progressive sound Ruben quickly earned praise from the genre's trendsetters Hernan Cattaneo and Nick Warren, while also becoming a regular in Beatport's competitive sales charts. Having made his first appearance on SLC-6 Music last year with a remix of K Loveski's 'Renzzo', the Los Angeles resident now returns to the label for his first single entitled 'Meteorite', alongside a remix from Jerome Isma-Ae. The Original Mix finds Ruben operating at the peak of his creative powers and aiming squarely for the dance floor. Elasticated synths, delicate chord stabs, percolating effects layers, charged beats and mountainous basslines form the solid structure of the track. An emotive break, complete with thought-provoking vocal samples, puts your senses on high for an exhilarating finale.

Making his label debut, and providing the lone interpretation, is progressive music icon Jerome Isma-Ae. Having remixed the likes of Faithless, Hybrid, Paul Van Dyk and Way Out West, the German artist now overhauls Ruben's 'Meteorite' in fine fashion. Beginning with a subdued pulse, Jerome masterfully builds the energy into an epic main-room stormer. Multi-dimensional stabs, flickering percussive arrangements and deconstructed vocals steal the air, while thunderous grooves and misty tension-filled atmospheres keep attention firmly locked on the dance floor.

"Geiger" is the opening piece. With an imposing declaration of intent, we enter into a relentless rhythm. Accompanied by pads that lead you into a feeling of euphoria and culminate in an explosion of sensations. A majestic composition destined for the dancefloor.

19:26 is one of the gala guests at this show and performs his version of "Geiger". An artist who has burst onto the scene with his great talent and his peculiar way of interpreting music. He delights us with his journey of melodies and atmospheres that transport you through space and time.

Radeckt presents his particular vision of "Geiger". With his characteristic elegance and sound, he shows off his creative skills with a subtle and seamless production. A marked rhythm accompanied by joyful and mysterious melodies that end in a sensory explosion.

"Circles & Cicles" puts the finishing touch with a frenetic track. Braemer unloads all his potential to sign a rough and fierce discourse. Squeezing the synthesizers to the maximum to emit punctures to the eardrum. Not suitable for sensitive ears.

Artwork by Nuria Baena. For this special release, the artist captures the fusion of the human being with a musical instrument, in this case the violin. Representing the union that exists between the musician and the instrument, as if it were part of it.

Woo York - supreme electronic music duo make their debut on Watergate Records.

The Ukrainian duo have a watertight reputation for crafting stunning dancefloor compositions, having released music on Life And Death, Soma, Dystopian, Drumcode and Afterlife, the latter home to their critically acclaimed 2018 album ‘Chasing the Dream’. Their appearances at Watergate have been numerous over the years, making them an obvious choice to join the label family.

Their Watergate Records debut maiden offering is sparkling. The title track begins as a chugging key-laden cut before a stirring folky melody rises to the fore with beautiful intent. With its unique sonic signature, ‘Samum’ will stand out in any set. Woo York show a new side of their outstanding musical talent “For this release we wanted to push boundaries of the melodic techno sound. For Samum we have worked with a bag pipe, one of the oldest instruments to give the track an almost „housy" note.”

The accompanier is ‘Prophet’, an emotional slice of dance music, hopeful and melancholic in equal doses, this is custom made for big dancefloor moments.

Accompanying the package are remixes of ‘Samum’ by fellow Ukrainian producer and live act 8Kays, who turns in a dark and shimmering re-rub, not losing any of the original’s power. Meanwhile Greek artist Echonomist crafts a rich and multi-faceted reinterpretation that fits for the club and home listening alike.

Welcome Nihil Young & Modeplex. The producers are both known for their dark and driving signature sound so this collaboration EP is a perfect gem. "Valium" is a mystic and exciting tune with a pitched down vocal hook next to a strong bassline and groove. "2031" is a more straight forward tune with evil synth stabs and and an epic chord progression.

'The Spanish PARALEL is back on the label with his second EP titled ‘Electric’. The EP consists of two signature and colorful originals in collaboration with vocalist Davide Famularo. As an addition to these originals, we are very glad to welcome Angelov and Carlo Whale to the label with two divergent, but great remixes.

The first track of the release is ‘Electric’. The dynamic arrangement takes you on a trip which starts off with the calming vocals of Davide, after which the rhythmic synthwork leads itself into the break while giving a euphoric feeling. From there the track works slowly to the final part of this lively piece, going up again towards the end of the track.

In his remix of ‘Electric’, Angelov gave it his signature twist. The energy level goes up from the start immediately. He managed to use the vocals in such a way the whole feeling of the vocals changed. Nevertheless, they still fit perfectly to the elements taken from the original. Throughout the composition a quite fierce characteristic synth comes through, giving the remix some extra roughness.

The third track is titled ‘Nothing is Real’. In this one, PARALEL also created a flamboyant play between the calming vocals and the rhythmic snynthwork. This play works towards quite a tight drop, after which the organic percussion comes up again, forming a very danceable unity with a darker undertone. 

Carlo Whale turned the focus a bit more towards the vocals in his remix of ‘Nothing Is Real’ and gave it modern melodic techno surroundings. In this way the vocals come out more ecstatic. In combination with the dreamy lead, the remix became uplifting and romantic at the same time.'

Our Ukrainian brother AIKON returns for a four-track excursion into the future of the past (or is it the past of the future?). Embodying the timeless ethos of TAU’s core sound, this EP is a surefire winner. AIKON has been a busy bee lately, with releases on Diynamic, Renaissance, Exploited and multinotes, among others. It’s great to have him back with us here at TAU, we’re sure you’re going to bop your head to this all through summer and beyond...

The EP gets grooving with its title track, ‘Energy Control’. At the low end there’s a gentle hum, nudged along by punchy beats. Acid flecks reverberate in the background, while a repetitive vocal clip gives the cut its enchanting character. Get ready for the extended breakdown, leading into a bombastic second half with a highly emotive riff designed to give you goosebumps.

Up next is ‘Come Together’, which utilises organic sounding percussion alongside a muted b-line. The vocal tells us “It’s time to come together” repeatedly, as if urging us to embrace unity... Layers of urgent melody are added, giving the track a dramatic quality. AIKON allows us sometime for a breather, before heading into the latter part of the track for more strutting on the dance floor.

‘Rattles’ follows up, opening with a deep bass rhythm. The atmosphere is tense and a little unsettling, with layers of percussion adding to the
track’s dynamic nature. An emotionally-charged breakdown showcases AIKON’s musicality, before we dive back into the depths of the low end

Lastly, ‘Space Adventure’ takes us on a cosmic head trip. After a pensive start, we encounter a funkafied bassline which is complemented by a
bright sparkling melody, which evokes the feeling of a shuttle docking with a space station while orbiting a distant planet. The progression and sonic narrative on this cut are perfectly matched with the title, AIKON guiding us through space with his impeccable composition..
