A new artist collective will be gracing the nightlife scene this April, as five of melodic dance music’s leading talents combine their efforts under a single, unified banner. Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt and Yulia Niko make up Scenarios, the collective, record label and event series. The label’s inaugural release takes the form of the two-track Here To Stay EP. The first instalment sees three of the five members collaborate on Here To Stay, a meandering, emotionally-charged offering packed full of poignant chords and textured drum patterns throughout. It feels introspective and danceable in one, paving the way for a similarly moving number in the form of You & I, Paradise. This time DUDDHA’s mesmeric vocals create an achingly beautiful soundscape, one that winds with a gentle lucidity through resonant synths and a driving lead bassline. Individually, they are known as Maga, Sean Doron, Yulia Niko, Tim Engelhardt and Emanuel Satie, each of whom are established performers in their own right. Together, they become Scenarios. Their mantra is simple: to create and implement a unique genre of music, one that offers an unparalleled event experience. As a collective, their beliefs and outlooks are shared - allowing them to truly grow as one whilst maintaining their individuality as independent artists. Born in France and now based in Portugal, Maga’s discography boasts releases on some of dance music's most widely recognised labels, including Flying Circus and Get Physical. After first gracing the electronic music world in April with the Here To Stay EP, five-person collective Scenarios return to their imprint next month. This time, founding-members Maga, Sean Doron and Yulia Niko team up on the Starlight EP.

Proceedings are brought underway by Starlight, with the title track manifesting as a piano-fuelled, emotionally-charged piece. It drifts between feelings of elation and hope, building through robust synths and warming key chimes to form seven minutes of club-ready bliss. Omana comes next, as stripped-back elements converge on spiritual-leaning chord solos, leaving us to meander through a stirringly beautiful soundscape. Both tracks embody the inherent values of Scenarios: to create and implement a unique genre of music, one that offers an unparalleled event experience.

Individually, they are known as Emanuel Satie, Maga, Sean Doron, Tim Engelhardt and Yulia Niko, each of whom are established performers in their own right. Together, they become Scenarios. August will see Monkey Safari put out their long-awaited Body Language Vol. 24. The 18-track affair is a deep dive into their own musical output as well as a testament to their alluring DJ style.

German pair Monkey Safari have become Get Physical mainstays over the years. In 2022, they have released a wealth of teaser tracks from this mix with each one showcasing a different side to their sound. After more than a decade of EPs and LPs on their own Hommage label they are still mining new musical ground and their 2021 album 'Love Will Set U Free' was the latest testament to that. This new mix is a further superb showcase of their signature DJ style and seductive musical output.

The mix is a broody one that takes you into a mesmeric world of classy, musical house. It is packed with originals and remixes from Monkey Safari starting with the alluring bell sounds and vocal cries of 'Ceremony' before moving on through the likes of their spine-tingling afro house remix of Fluida and then a lithe and airy remix of BLOND:ISH. After classy Monkey Safari material like 'Universal Love' and 'W' is a remix of George Morel's classic 'Let's Groove' that updates the tune with a fresh modern edge.

The disco depths of DJ Pierre feat. Chic Loren's reworked classic 'I Feel Love' is followed by standout exclusive remix 'Hausch' which lifts the spirits on a wave of positive synth work, upbeat drums and summery vibes that are sure to get plenty of plays this summer and beyond. A faultless run of recently released singles including 'Kami', 'Light Of Day' and 'Hi & Low' then round out this most exquisite and sensitive selection.

Body Language Vol. 24. is another landmark entry into this long-running and influential DJ mix series.

Born and bred in Buenos Aires, Santiago Garcia has previously appeared on Human By Default as well as Innervisions, Warung Recordings, and Moblack. Returning to Bedouin’s label for the first time since the collaborative ‘Bay Of Skaill’ with the label bosses in 2020, the Argentinian drops a two-track EP featuring one original production and a collaboration with UNDERHER, an artist who has previously worked with Moby, Booka Shade, and Maya Jane Coles amongst others.

On the title cut ‘Nanana’, Santiago Garcia combines driving percussion, soaring pads, and spine-tingling build-ups for a propulsive opening track. Teaming up for the first time, the duo deliver plodding, downtempo drums and emotive vocals on ‘Still Can’t Find You’, resulting in a well-balanced and musically thrilling two-tracker.

Rami Imam has risen up through the ranks from local star to international talent over the last few years. With every release, he serves up a melodic odyssey with soothing tones, deep grooves and powerful sound design. He has released through the likes of Bibliotheque, Street Tracks and Upon Access and now brings more dynamic sounds and ethereal moods on his connected debut.

The sublime 'Akati' soon enchants with its organic house grooves and wooden percussive hits. Choral vocals light up the airwaves with real soul as the majestic synths bring poignancy to this deep roller. On 'Dune Kids', the beats are broken up and take you on a ride through space next to lush chords laden with melancholy.
