The Cologne-based producer has never settled for the predictable norm, working his way through projects from all corners of the musical landscape on his eclectic journey. With releases on the likes of Innervisions & Correspondant, Motip's productions drip in analog tones & bespoke indie-punk influence. We're thrilled to welcome Motip back on XYZ with the Clean The Turbines EP.

The A-side What Do You Want Me To Say throws us into a synthetic soundscape, as Motip's signature vocal chops cut straight to the core. Riveting rhythms enter the fold, merging teeming tones with a rich indie foundation. Motip White at his absolute best.

microCastle's second offering of 2023 welcomes Ivory back to the label for his third producer showcase. Based in Milan, Italian artist Daniel Tagliaferri aka Ivory has been at the cutting edge of electronic music for the better part of a decade. Comparable to the path of his contemporaries, Daniel has found a way to create a personal universe by exploring electronic sounds, and ultimately finding his own place in the trend-driven state of underground dance music. Fully formed within the creative confines of his Milan studio, Ivory's third microCastle project 'Persona', follows on from 2021's 'Light Through Water', a seven-track affair which continued Daniel's mission to create bold synthesizer symphonies from the tools of the club. As an evolution in his sound, the release was significantly more stripped-down and dancefloor-friendly than his label debut 'No Scale Can Resize You' yet continued to demonstrate and build on the Italian's penchant for sophisticated sound design and memorable musical themes. Moving forward, 2022 proved to be a monumental year for Ivory, with the release of his debut album 'Feelin' sitting as the highlight, a release which was preceded by the immaculate EP project 'Rain'. The year also saw the Milan resident gain further recognition as a DJ, as he continued to exhibit fresh programming along with thrilling pace and flow, in turn becoming an in-demand presence at major clubs and events throughout the world. Now, following a string of impressive remixes to begin 2023, Ivory makes a welcome return to microCastle with 'Persona'.

Producers are the backbone of any label; developing supportive and genuine relationships with our artists is the core principle of TOR's development. Our 'Amis' series is an ode to the figures that we feel are at the foundation of the label's journey thus far.

To kick off the Amis series on TOR, there was truly only one man for the job. Wassu will always hold a special mantle at the TOR imprint, as the man who inaugurated the label with his Andu EP in 2020. Since then, the New Yorker has turned heads with a string of prolific releases on the likes of Anjunadeep, All Day I Dream, and When We Dip XYZ. With each passing project, Wassu's mastery of warm melodies and boastful basslines deepens, showcasing the ever-evolving sound of the wizardly Wassu.

It's safe to say that Wassu has outdone himself on this one, welcoming a widespread community of producers into the fold. He grabbed the baton & ran with it, sourcing a bounty of material for the debut of Amis. More than anything, this collection of music represents the fact that Wassu is a man of the people; one of the most important characters in the deep & melodic scene. He brings together artists from all corners for our debut Amis project - longtime collaborators, new faces, inspirational acts, studio partners, and burgeoning partnerships all align on Wassu's Amis.

'We are extremely pleased to welcome USA-Based DJ and producer Veytik to the ranks of Polyptych artists. As the founder of Art Vibes Music, as well as artists of many well-known imprints, including Click Records, ICONYC, YION, Cafe De Anatolia, trndmsk, and many others, Veytik has become a prominent figure in the electronic scene, relying on bright organic and ethnic downtempo sounds, but also not forgetting to mix in elements from other genres, which makes his style unique. This time Veytik presents to us with a new EP "Let the Flame Take You". The release combines a bright palette of emotions and sensations, intertwining the softness and lightness of organic sound, melancholic ethnic motives, and vocal elements, as well as incredible guitar riffs that give an exciting vibe.
