'Rose Ringed’s latest EP is quintessentially high energy, uplifting music, but unusually, in three diverse forms ranging from electro pop to deep groove techno and euphoric house. Since his first EP 'Spring Memories’ instant success in 2018, when Kölsch played 'In Your Arms Again' during his BBC Radio 1 show, the Amsterdam drummer, pianist, DJ and producer stepped straight into international acclaim for his releases and enviable streaming stats.

‘Impossible Love’ channels 80s electronic pop with a clean, bouncy Aha vibe, but this time to ‘Take On’ homophobia. ‘I wrote this song for everyone around the world whose love is impossible because of culture, beliefs or laws. I made it upbeat, because I believe we are heading in the right direction. Slowly, but we’re getting there.’

A rising Brazilian star with a growing portfolio of high-quality releases to his name, Tonaco makes his Meanwhile full EP debut with the 3-track 'Disurbia / Avalon / Crackdown.' 

After first appearing on July 2022's 'Meanwhile Excursions' compilation with 'Sententrional,' Tonaco now returns to Meanwhile with a first full solo EP. 

The final track sees 'Crackdown' continue the percussive narrative of earlier tracks as a hypnotising combination of tom fills and carefully placed melodic rhythms combine to create a soundscape full of vitality and brio. Building at the half-way stage with a wonderful bassline pattern, a light and airy melody then fills the sonic spectrum into a gloriously evocative breakdown of echoing keys and spatial effects, before dropping back into the smooth rolling groove of toms, hats and driving beat.

Next on AMITABHA we welcome back two talented producer-duos from Buenos Aires and Córdoba, who bring their fresh organic and progressive house interpretations of German Tedesco´s 'Matter of Perspective'. Mauro Masi made his debut on the label in 2020 with the well received 'Bonwa /Naisha', premiered by Bodai during her live-streamed Dj Set at Amsterdam Dance Event with Frisky Radio. His next appearance was with 'Purity', out in the Deep & Natural, Vol.2, joining forces with Julian Liander and premiered by Hernan Cattaneo on his RESIDENT Show. Holding releases on Lost Desert's Souksonic, the Argentinian duo returned last year with two organic gems called 'Djambore / Dabha'. Their Remix of Matter of Perspective is the perfect piece to warm up dancefloors and open air venues. RoMi (AR) made a massive duo debut in the Deep & Natural, Vol. 6, with 'Smile'. A quality-crafted soulful track very well received by the label community around the globe. The producer duo from Cordoba return now with a strong-vibe Remix, showcasing their progressive influences. Golden Wings Music celebrates their 50th release by welcoming Daniel Curotto to the label for his debut single. Argentinean artist Daniel Curotto has been a fixture of the progressive house underground for the better part of a decade. On the strength of early tracks ‘Rising Sun’ and ‘Far Earth’ Daniel established a groovy nostalgic sound which made him a name to watch going forward. Releases for Mistique Music and Polyptych would follow across the next three calendar years, further establishing Daniel as a progressive house talent. 2023 would see the Argentine rise to greater heights with key projects via Libertas and INU Musica. Now, as Golden Wings celebrates their 50th release and first in almost two years, they welcome Daniel to the label with ‘Mediterraneo’ alongside remixes from (in order of appearance) Gai Barone, Ranj Kaler and East Cafe.

Providing the first interpretation of ‘Mediterraneo’ is Gai Barone who makes his label debut. With an esteemed career stretching the better part of two decades Gai Barone has become one of electronic music’s most sought after artists. The renowned musician and Italian native has long been one of the industry's most fascinating producers. An unrivalled quest for the creation of something uniquely memorable and deeply moving has fuelled his sonic journey. As a true craftsman, it is this drive for excellence that makes each one of Gai’s studio creations met with much anticipation. Afterglow, Bedrock, Lost & Found and more have been landing spots for some of his most notable work, while progressive music trendsetters such as Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren and more have been steadfast supporters along the way. Now in a year which has already seen Gai deliver projects for Dreaming Awake, Vapour Recordings and his own Patterized imprint, the Italian makes his Golden Wings debut with a sensational remix of ‘Mediterraneo’. Already supported by Anthony Pappa, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, the latter of which aired the remix during his famed Sunsetstrip set, this is certainly a remix you’ll be hearing a lot across 2024. Booming yet dreamy, its electric vibe instantly commands your attention, through snatches of panning chord stabs and siren-like synth flares, eventually arriving at a textural break to further enchant the listener. Here, its atmospheric energy turns over beautifully, as effects intensify and sonics swirl, cleverly co-axing for a hair-raising crescendo and suitably thunderous drop.
