An Argentinean maestro forges a mesmerising new “Encounter” that bristles with organic energy and intense beauty. Beautifully animated melodies from Juan Deminicis create an atmosphere that conjures images of birdsong and teeming wildlife. Bristling with vitality, a path into the heart of the jungle is a trip of a lifetime. From the side of the sun, Weird Sounding Dude creates a dazzling new interpretation of “Kinton”. Seductive and exquisite, a new aural chemistry creates an alloy of precious sounds that gleam in the dark earth. The time has come to blow out another candle on the cake, this time around Crossfrontier Audio is turning 4 years old... and we’re keeping up steam to blow out more! Customary with every birthday bash we throw, this year we’ve doubled up with a label showcase at Amsterdam Dance Event, and a 2-part special release celebrating four years of your favourite Berlin based label.

Through the many moments that have made our label, this year has been no different for pushing our sound passionately across the World’s dance-floors, festivals and beyond. Over the last 12 months we’ve had 12 releases, including EP’s from key artists MUUI and Yoram, we’ve had Jonas Saalbach and THe WHite SHadow blow everyone out of the park with killer releases, Amentia and Foreign Guest gave us remarkable debuts, MUUI and Marc Poppcke gave us their long-awaited debut albums, and if that wasn’t enough, we teamed up with some of the best in the game to give you some deadly remixes from the likes of Einmusik, Solee, Los Suruba and Rashid Ajami – what a year!

You’d think with turning 4, it’d be easy to sit back and enjoy the ride? Yet Crossfrontier Audio won’t stop, we’re gearing up for another year and we’re gunning for our 50th release too! The next of which is a mix of label favourites and exciting new artists who feature on our 2-part 4 Years of Crossfrontier Audio, due for release mid of October – stay in the mix as you will not be disappointed, with a nod to the past and a look to the future, we certainly have a few surprises for you.

Lastly, we’d like to thank everyone involved with us over the last 4 years thus far, be it an avid listener, a DJ playing out our signature sound, or one of the many creative artists we work with – it’s you who we do it for, and we’ll continue crossing frontiers.

'Second release, secondo lap, for the brand-new label Saturn Return. The coproduction between Robbie Akbal and Rowee fills the dance floors with dramatic melodies.

The lead synth seems to be perpetually shape-shifting, the overall mood is tense, powered by loops thick with bass and intensely hypnotic that you could listen to for hours.

After 3 minutes of straight clubbing, a ray of light enters with the voice of KnowKontrol, breaking the rules with soaring vocals like only he can.
It’s a fusion between the melancholy and the hopeful. Its deep reassuring embrace is hard to resist.

This kind of technique can cause dance floors to erupt. It’s unconventional dance music.

Dance Spirit signs the first remix of the label. The original's swung groove is replaced by a faster and straighter rhythm.

The clanging melody is amplified by a loud wall of bright pads, stabs full of touching tones and melodies that burrow into your brain. It will certainly get dance floors moving, opting for a heads-down vibe which splices jacking beats with twisted passages of psychedelic tones.'

It’s not an everyday release we have this time on Truesounds Music. We got this demo package straight from the Indonesian capital, and after road testing it for a while, we were happy to sign it.

Nowadays it is a big challenge to produce something extraordinary in the highly saturated melodic house and techno genre, but Apsara managed to do that! Welcome on board miss!

Another cool thing about the release is, that it is a great example of how female artists are not only successful behind the decks, but also when it comes to producing.
