Label boss D-Nox teams up with Brazilian producer and DJ Felipe Novaes to bring us Space Talk. This EP will be one of two before Felipes will launch his debut album in Feb 2022.

The track itself is a melodious workout, wonderfully layered, bringing emotive warmth throughout, especially during the smile inducing breakdown. Washes of feel good vibes flowing, delivering a feeling of the suns warmth on your face. It's big, and it's beautiful.

Cid Inc. steps up on remix duties. The Re-Plug Records boss, takes us deep and adding a tense vibe of anticipation. A wonderful use of the melodics, while adding a spaced out flavour, yet keeping the groove throbbing and dirty!

Tash’s Movement Limited opens the new year by welcoming Notamous to the label for their debut single. Hailing from Lithuania, but now calling the United States home, the Notamous production duo has been honing their sound since first merging in 2023.

Hobin Rude debuts on the label’s Limited division, delivering a stellar interpretation of ‘Black Horizon.’ Adding his own unique vision to the piece, Hobin opts for a club-effective approach here, focusing on a cohesive blend of swaying basslines, grooved-out rhythms and fragmented effects, while tastefully incorporating the original's mysterious sonic traits, sealing what is a transcendent dancefloor journey to round out the release in style.

Spring 2018 saw Mexican artist, Hot Tuneik, debut on Proton Music with "Revival". Now returning to the EP, new remixes from esteemed producers provide a fresh new perspective.

The ‘double-headed dragon' that comprises the Lanvary production duo has seen Alex and Andrew become a major force in the electronic music scene. Diverse musical perspectives have seen the pair delight with a musical recipe that combines elements from progressive and deep house with techno flourishes in a distinct and unique sound. Over a century of production credits can be found next to the Lanvary name since an early debut for Underphunk in late 2010. Going on to see their music featured on Stellar Fountain, Mistique Music and Particles, their work for the latter has found success with a trio of original EPs in 2015's "Micromegas", 2016's "Penumbra" and 2017's "Leviathan". Lanvary's work for Proton Music is centred around the superb "Venus" in December 2017, while a pair of remixes for Matter is now followed by a wonderful reworking of "Memories". Hitting hard with dominant beat and ticking off-beat percussion, a sumptuous bass groove quickly makes its presence felt as the melodic elements of the original resonate through the Lanvary interpretation. The pulsating string motifs from Hot TuneiK's track rise and fall throughout and a host of new production material supply dynamic dance-floor credentials to keep club-goers happy with a seamless blend of rhythm and melody.

Hot TuneiK's "Revival" is complete as new remixes from Matter and Lanvary reinvent and revitalise.

A renowned talent with global support from fans and peers alike, Juan Deminicis showcased an array of skills and beautiful melodies with "Life on the Moon". Returning to the EP, new remixes find German, Brazilian and Australian stars firmly in the spotlight.

An artist with a sizeable reputation over a number of years, Christian Wedekind is a name familiar to the underground community with his D-Nox soubriquet. A global DJ phenomenon with performances across his German home from the 1990s onwards and across Brazil, Japan, Mexico and Australia, his work with Beckers saw the duo thrill audiences with mesmerising sets and expertly-crafted sonic voyages. Almost 500 production credits tell their own story across some of the finest imprints that include Suara, Tronic, Bedrock and D-Nox's own, Sprout Music. Supported by a global elite that includes, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo and Dave Seaman, D-Nox joins forces with the multi-talented Brazilian artist, ZAC, himself a renowned DJ and producer featured on the likes of Sony Music and Universal.

Thus, the D-Nox and ZAC remix creates a strong dance-floor intensity as a fast-paced rhythm entices with rapid-fire percussion and rolling snare fills. Building effortlessly, an identity with the original emerges as the familiar melodic refrains of "Life in the Moon" bounce across a near eight-minute piece in new intriguing cadence. Full of melodic flourish at the mid-point breakdown, the driving rhythm and intelligently worked melodic groove hit the heights once again in the third movement.

The powerhouse pairing of Gavin Griffin and Matty Doyle have seen the Australian duo create a magnetic forcefield that has attracted huge support and attention since they first joined forces on the "Superposition" EP for Proton Music in May 2016. Hugely successful in their own rights with original and remix work for both Particles and the flagship imprint, June 2017's "Osmosis" and August 2018's "Interscope" EPs continued to showcase production talent of the highest order. A trio of remixes of Pete K's "Utopia", Andre Sobota's "Unmute" and Rudy's "Time" provided another window on the pair's talent in late 2016, 2017 and 2018 and it is thus a genuine pleasure to welcome them back for a fourth outing on the remix trail.

Supplying yet another moment of magic, GMJ and Matter take "Tao the King" on a sumptuous journey redolent in rolling bass groove and steam-powered white noise effects with their 'Royalty Remix'. A glittering and delayed motif appears at the start of the second movement as a swathe of new counterpoint melodic lines entwine effortlessly with original components. Hitting new heights at a rousing crescendo with pulsating intensity, the track explodes in a glorious rhythmic groove that illustrates precisely why GMJ and Matter are such sought-after producers.

Remixes from D-Nox and Zac and GMJ and Matter have developed a dynamic and vibrant "Life on the Moon".

Returning to Proton Music in October 2018, the "Audacity" EP represented Simos Tagias at his finest with two exceptional original tracks. Remixes from a Croatian superstar and Australian mainstay now continue the story.

An undisputed master of his craft, Petar Dundov has represented the underground dance scene with considerable aplomb for over 25 years. With his innovative sound design and unique sonic architecture, the Croatian has been at the vanguard of a genre-defying sound that perhaps identifies most closely to techno for Dundov himself. Melding rhythm and melody in distinctive patterns that have mesmerised global audiences at festivals such as, "I Love Techno" and "EXIT, and clubs including and Tokyo's "Womb" and Berlin's achingly cool "Berghain", work for a plethora of blue-chip imprints has appeared in tandem. Thus, Music Man, Systematic Recordings, Cocoon and Bedrock have all played host to Dundov's iconic sound.

Making his Proton Music debut, the Petar Dundov remix of the title track takes "Audacity" on a rolling groove inspired journey that pulsates gently on a wave of sumptuous pads and familiar motifs from Tagias' original. Evolving elegantly, a searing arpeggio filters into sonic range towards the mid-point before the track explodes in the second half with a huge analogue bassline and intricate percussive cadence full of clave groove. The resultant work is a glorious sonic collage of the highest order.

Gavin Griffin is an artist requiring no introduction to the Proton Music faithful. A producer whose trajectory continues to rise exponentially, his GMJ moniker has been closely linked to the Particles and Proton Music labels with a host of original music, both in solo and collaborative guises. An artist with an acute understanding of the underground music scene, a passion for his craft shines through with his "deep emotive electronic music". Indeed, some 300 production credits feature the GMJ name as his work continues to feed the catalogues of such celebrated imprints as Balkan Connection, Open Records and Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat.

A regular on Proton Music with several original EPs alongside fellow Australian, Matter, and a collaboration with iconic Hungarian producer, East Café, October 2017's "Sovereign Reality" saw GMJ make his solo debut with an EP of ambitious scope and immaculate production. Now returning after remixes of Dousk and Nocturna, the GMJ remix of "Elaza" epitomises GMJ's attention to detail as an immaculately polished rhythmic foundation plays host to an array of rich, haunting melodies. Signature motifs from Tagias' original make their presence felt in the second half as they blend seamlessly with GMJ's additional production material – the result is an interpretation that sees the Australian at the top of his artistic endeavours.

Remixes from Petar Dundov and GMJ have the "Audacity" to take Simos Tagias to an even higher level.

It's time to introduce a brand new artist to you, as this isn't only his Magnitude Recordings debut, it's his first ever official release. Please give a warm welcome to Buenos Aires based artist Maezbi, the latest to emerge from the ever delivering Argentinian progressive house talent pool.

When Francesco Pico heard his demo he didn't have any doubt, he wanted to sign Maezbi to his label right away! And the result is the double A-sider you've got in front of you right now, including the songs Pangea and Panthalassa.

Rolling and funky but smooth and dreamy at the same time, these songs tick all the boxes and we're pretty sure these will be gathering a lot of support from the progressive house community.

What a release by this debutant, and let's all hope this is only the beginning for him!

Maezbi - Pangea

Few producers can match the meteoric rise of Kastis Torrau and as the Lithuanian producer returns to Proton Music, “Route 88” opens up with remixes from Belarusian and Dutch stars.

An artist with a 24-carat reputation plus skills and technique to match, Kastis Torrau has been at the cutting edge of underground dance music since he burst onto the scene with Donatello and Arnas D in 2011 – triumphant in the Sasha remix competition for “Cut Me Down”. A subsequent appearance on Last Night On Earth rubber-stamped Torrau’s global status as ‘rising star’, while a string of productions found their way on to Einmusika, Hope Recordings and Black Hole. A regular on Proton Music since August 2014, “Genesis” in collaboration with fellow countryman, Donatello, saw subsequent A-list remixes from Barry Jamieson and Darin Epsilon. Now returning, “Route 88” is characterised by a typically bristling bassline that drives the track relentlessly forward, wrapped around an immaculate and crisp rhythmic shell. Sublime melodic flourishes ripple across the stereo spectrum, building in the breakdown to introduce an exquisite counterpoint phrase before rhythm and bass hit hard again in the third movement.

A true star across his Belarusian home and far beyond its borders, Dmitry Molosh has seen his career skyrocket with his performances across Europe and South America in August 2019. Seeing his music feature on such illustrious labels as Replug, Sudbeat and Plattenbank, supported by such household names as Nick Warren, Guy J and Hernan Cattaneo, he featured on Particles with both original and remix production work in 2014 and ’15. Making his Proton Music debut and reinventing Kastis Torrau, the Dmitry Molosh remix opens with a chest-thumping kick before reprising the bassline so central the original. Before long, a swathe of new production material appears that introduces new melodic structures and phrases that reach their zenith at the breakdown with beautiful piano notes and sumptuous pad textures. Hitting its stride in the third movement, all elements combine to create a wonderful new “Route 88”.

Always in demand with their imaginative work for the likes of EIN2, Traum and Mango Alley, Huminal’s relationship with Particles and Proton Music has seen the Dutch duo feature with a host of original music. After a debut remixing Nikko.Z in June 2015, the twin-track “Knocking on the Sky” followed before “We Dwell in the Past” arrived with a bang a year later and “Macropsia” came into view in October 2018. Always at the cutting edge of sound design, The Huminal remix is as immaculate as it is elegant with a raft of intelligent production techniques that sees “Route 88” build with trademark momentum across the seven-minute track. A filtered and gated analogue bass pattern rises and falls throughout while a gloriously produced breakdown sequence ripples with a new melodic sequence that gently pulsates. Rhythmic and melodic groove then join forces again in the second half to devastating effect.

With a beautifully smooth and powerful track, Kastis Torrau drives effortlessly along “Route 88” with remixes from Dmitry Molosh and Huminal.
