To start our first release of the year, Mr Morek delights us  with Hungry, a  hypnotic and fresh masterpiece. A song that seeks the perfection of forms, where nothing is missing and nothing is superfluous. Italian maestro  Malandra  Jr. brings the original song to a darker side, with kinetic atmospheres that captivate from beginning to end. That Good is another example of perfect simplicity that is hard to get out of your head once you have heard it, with an amazing, infinite break perfectly executed, its groove is so well rounded that it could make you dance for hours. "Brk u Brk series" is an idea that we conceived as a kind of challenge, in an artistic way not in a competitive, to have a single track from 2 different producers with similar tastes on one album. So, Buba has "Ples" and Pim Secle "Roboti i Gljive".
Both tracks are a ride through the 80s with crazy Juno chords and the indispensable Vocoder to make them even more magical.

Iconic French electronic artist Kiko returns to Watergate Records and brings a legend along for the ride as The Hacker makes his label debut.
 
We got our first taste of Kiko on the Oberbaumbrücke imprint when he teamed with another lofty French artist POPOF to craft the supreme ‘Night Sky’ EP released last May. 
 
Kiko sonic passions span techno, electro and Italo Disco, all of which bleed into one another on his latest ‘Data Entry’ EP. The title track is a melting pot of chugging basslines, crushing percussion, an attitude-packed vocal and slick melody line. The Hacker, who Kiko sees as his “brother, mentor and family”, blesses the release with a re-rub of the title track, teasing out the robotic elements to craft a remix that’s both full-bodied, yet ice-cool. 
 
Kiko then reinforces his love of collaborations, teaming with Lucye, considered one of the most exciting artists of the new generation in France. Initially meeting at a local bar in their hometown of Grenoble, they bonded over their shared love of Italo Disco and continue this celebration with the exuberant jam, ‘Orange Fizz’.

Sincopat is back with another exciting new release, after the outstanding AFFKT mini album/EP, it is now time of the Unchained Remixed. Every song from the previous release has been remixed by an incredible selection of talented artists selected by Sincopat's Big Kahuna for such an special recording.
To start with, we have no_ip, a long-time friend of the house. He delivers a sublime reinterpretation of We are shifting, a raw and organic work with Sutja Gutierrez's voice that acquires a new dimension.
In the same order as the original release we now have Bsoul, but this time remixed by My Secret Playground, one of the most in-shape artists of the moment. Understanding the original essence, he takes the track to his colourful disco world full of nuances.
Huarache, name of AFFKT's favourite sneakers, is remixed by The Policy. They did a magnificent and classy rework over hypes and styles where words are superfluous.
Last but not least, we have SNYL, the winner of the first Sincopat remixed contest and part of the family by his own merits. His version of Dust is an example of exquisite simplicity with a clear goal, reaching a maximum peak of emotion.
An incredible pack of timeless remixes that will leave you speechless.
