'This is Copenhagen-based duo Baime’s second EP on their own but the two Danes have already established themselves as solid players on the international scene. It is safe to say that these three tracks have been produced with a feeling of home in mind. There’s a hopeful notion to the tracks, but with a hint of melancholy. Hope and lust for freedom, for dancing, and for community - and an almost painful aching at the same time.

“Basilike” and “Semele” are both powerful and personal in their expression, probably because the duo recorded the tracks using mostly analog gear and homemade percussion and drums. “Jabal”, on the other hand, is inspired by the Middle East with an incorporated sound bit that leaves the listener feeling like “Jabal” could be a long lost cousin of Baime’s earlier hit track “The Damned”.

It’s taken the duo one and a half years to finish this EP, and it’s well worth the wait. These guys deliver quality over quantity and only release a track when it’s been thoroughly tested, refined, and then vetted by other industry experts. Baime’s latest release is not your regular run-of-the-mill electronic production. Instead, listeners should expect quality sounds, stellar percussion bits, and lots and lots of passion. It’s just what we need to gear up for a brighter future.'

'For the 30th release of Infinite Depth, no one less than Brian Cid makes his debut on the label. The American bred and Berlin based producer has a very impressive discography and shows his darker side through this 'Rise To The Fifth' EP. The collection includes three storytelling originals with terrestrial atmospheres, guiding you to an unknown dimension.

The EP starts off with 'Alma De Monte', which means mountain soul. Around the organic kick and percussion, spacious elements are taking shape. Throughout the track these elements are generating a rising tension, which gets strengthened by a screaming sound of the mountain's soul. 

The next stop towards the unknown dimension is 'Mar Adentro'. The intergalactic, but still organic atmosphere gives you the feeling of being surrounded by a world bigger than ours. The earthy sawing synth in combination with the trippy higher details, makes you keep your feet on the ground, but brings your head into that mysterious and infinite world.

'Rise To The Fifth' gives you that extra push into the unrevealed fifth dimension. A dimension which a human mind is not capable of imagining. The stronger lower part of the track and celestial aspects are creating this journey toward the fifth. When arrived an unidentifiable sound welcomes you.'

'Already an iconic figure in the underground dance fraternity, Dmitry Molosh now takes another leap forward with the creation of his Proportion record label. Created as vehicle to showcase the Belarusian’s extraordinary talent alongside an array of high-profile and rising names, Proportion launches with an eponymously titled EP with an original track from Dmitry himself plus a remix from Finnish legend, Cid Inc.

Dmitry Molosh has presided over a stellar career path. Rising rapidly to global prominence from his Belarus home, Dmitry has witnessed a steep upwards trajectory where his music has reached out across nation boundaries, engaging listeners with a distinctive, powerful and forward-thinking sound. Over 500 production credits can thus be credited to the Dmitry Molosh name as he continues to find his musical talents in considerable demand. Hernan Cattaneo’s Sudbeat Music, Gai Barone’s Afterglow, Nick Warren’s Hope and Cid Inc.’s Replug have all showcased the Belarusian’s distinctive sound, while US leviathan Proton Music has also featured an array of original and remix material. Supported by the DJ glitterati that include Guy J, Guy Mantzur and Khen, alongside the celebrated label heads, Dmitry Molosh now opens his account on Proportion.

The title track of the same name is a stunning affair. Redolent in the trademark characteristics that have made him such a sought-after producer, a chest-thumping kick anchors a glorious, head-shaking bass groove and woodblock percussion. Ticking hi-hats add to the collage as a beautifully imagined synth motif filters its way across the 8-minute piece. A further bassline adds weight and dynamism before a stripped back breakdown creates a gateway for a rousing crescendo of white-noise and pitched effects. These then pave the way for the sultry bassline cadence and synth line so prominent in the early stages, to work their magic once more in the second half.

Cid Inc. require little introduction to the underground dance faithful. A legendary figure for two decades, the Finnish star has been responsible for entertaining audiences around the world with his immaculately crafted DJ sets while creating some the finest moments in modern electronic music history. Seeing his work featured on legion luminary imprints that includes the likes Lost & Found, Einmusika JEE Productions and Sudbeat Music, the latter saw Dmitry Molosh & Cid Inc. join forces on August 2021’s “Impending Storm” to devastating effect. Cid Inc.’s own Replug label has also been a potent vehicle for his own music while furthering the musical careers of a plethora of other artists who have gone on to become dominant forces in the global dance music arena.

An esteemed music engineer and renowned producer, the Cid Inc. remix of “Proportion” is characterised by an intricate and dynamic percussive groove that propels the track forward. Accompanied by a hypnotic bassline sequence and similarly mesmerising arpeggio, melodic elements for the original ripple to the fore in a sublime atmospheric collage. Smooth pads and white-noise flourishes build before falling away to a spine-tingling drop, as the rhythmic and bassline foundation provide a club-friendly closing section.'

'Next up for the rising Desert Hearts Black label, is a big single from Darin Epsilon and Galestian. 

Following up his great release with Marc DePulse, Darin makes his return with a charged progressive groove titled “Reset.” This tune is layered with arpeggiated emotion, and just keeps climbing throughout the entire ride. Darin is such a dynamic producer, constantly showing his range, and Reset is another example of his ever expanding work.

This release also carries two exciting remixes, taking Darin and Galestian’s creation even deeper. The first comes from Fur Coat, making his debut on the label, and delivers that signature dark energy. Galestian has previously collaborated with Paul Oakenfold and released alongside Olivier Giacomotto, with music out on labels such as Berlin’s Ritter Butzke Records and Toolroom. Another big artist joins the DHB catalog with a remix, and this one brings the heat.

The second remix, rounding out the release, comes from label heads and founders Marbs & Evan Casey. Moody, melodic, and a journey driven remix taking us through the realms with some beautiful moments and shifts. Another great collab from these two here, and a big release all around for the DH imprint. Release date for this one is November 12, so stay tuned!'

'Welcome to the 12th edition of our ongoing Breaking New Soil series, featuring both new and established talent once again. First up is our good friend Harvey McKay, who graced the label last year with his seminal Forest EP - his new track Borderline is another trademark Harvey production, guaranteed to set dancefloors on fire! Next up we have Phyrgian from Colombia. Gregor played his track Tarot" in almost every set last year, so we are very happy to have him on board with Mansalva, another über-hypnotic Techno excursion - imagine to hear this at a dark, packed warehouse rave - pure fire! Next up are Mario Hammer and The Lonely Robot - known for their eclectic releases on Traum and Cocoon. They handed in 13 degrees, remixed by Harald Björk. It´s one of those tracks that - when dropped at the right moment, will take dancers on a journey and leave them with a smile on their faces. Last but not least we are very happy to have some original music by Lad, who is know in the business as one of the finest mastering engineers. Hailing from Geneva, he surprised us with this phenomenal techno track, that takes no prisoners but will start a riot on the dancefloors for sure. This is Breaking New Soil!'
