For the Plurpura Kapoli Colors mixtape  I took  love and care  to prepare a timeless mix with a feeling of an homage to the host. I like a consistent story, neatly woven and mixed in harmonic keys, which is guiding you through different moods, rhythmic patterns and soundscapes to explore.
It’s made for sofa surfing and slow dancing and works its way from 75 to 95 bpm.

About this journey:
I recorded the mix during my  winter escape journey in the Dominican Republic. There are great views of the Atlantic Ocean from my friends house on a hill with  a lush green tropical garden.
Beautiful birds, lizards and lots of baby geckos are around to spot.
And many kitesurfers on windy beaches on turquoise waters.
When listening to the mix you might  see the kites racing and flying over the waves  or travel through other vast landscapes or cosmic spaces.
I kept the mix evolving in positive moods and mostly instrumental style. 
Crispy rhythms, warm basses and some catchy melodies are provided.     
Dancing is welcome. Just empty your mind and enjoy the journey.

One of the flutes played on this track is Swamp Kauri wood 40 000 years old carbon dated with pounamu ( jade) and paua shell inlay hemp string. All handmade with knives and chisels from recycled wood of giant slabs of cuts

The Woods Winds (Feat. Pablo Andres Laverde)

The Oddness is the project of Melbourne producer and performer Warwick Ferguson. The sound of the Oddness is Downtempo yet energetic, with punchy tribal drums and huge bass lines wrapped around the long slow burning structures of progressive house.
The Oddness Launched his live set in 2018 and has since performed at some of Australia’s premium festivals including Rainbow Serpent, Let Them Eat Cake and ChiWowWah Town. The set is full of improvisation and can go anywhere from laidback and melancholy through to a chunky, driving gut punch. Recently he has been joined by Multi Instrumentalists Dylan Jarred and Timmus, performing as a 3-piece band.
His first release came in early 2018 on Uone’s label Beat & Path with a huge remix from Electronic music legend Adam Freeland, quickly followed his debut album ‘Culmination’ on Griff’s new imprint Corymbia Recordings.
2019 saw a string of releases and remixes for labels Pipe & Pochet, Shango Records, LNDKHN and Sofa Beats, as well as remixing Satin Jackets huge hit Automatic for Eskimo Recordings.
A European tour was booked for 2020 including Boom, Noisily and Vibronica festivals, but was cancelled due to the Covid-19 situation. This led to some serious studio time culminating in his second album due in December on Beat & Path.

Sheena and Cristiano communicate sounds of connectivity, intimacy and melodic pleasure. They have a wide range of tempos and genre experimentation that has been refined into what they call their “Sonic Journey”. 

They combine turntablism, latin pre-hispanic/afro percussion, vocals and other unique instruments to create an eclectic Savage & SHē hybrid experience. When they aren’t creating music , they balance their days between breathwork, exercise and meditation in nature. 

Splitting their year between 2 continents; the winters on the beaches of Tulum, Mexico, with residencies at Nômade, BE Tulum and summers in Ibiza Performing at Blue Marlin, Destino Ibiza, The Zoo Project, Sunset Ashram to name a few.

Sheena has been showcasing creative excellence all her life. As an award-winning hair stylist, vocalist, designer, painter and published model. She toured musical talents throughout Canada in her youth as the lead singer of multiple retro/rock bands, allowing her vibrant energy to shine on stages today.

There is no shortage of originality with SHē. Sheena continues to model and runs her fashion brand. Cristiano has been a lifelong multi-instrumentalist. Beginning in Rock/punk bands as a teenager; he later shifted his focus into electronic production with Latin/Mediterranean influences.

Their blend of Afro House, Melodic Techno & Deep House has sprung themselves into the top double digits on Beatports top 100 with releases on RADIANT, truecolors or Earlthly Delights. 

Expect to see Savage & SHē live, because they are quickly rising on the festival circuit and capturing the hearts of their audience, is simply what they do.  
Their hybrid performance for The Soundgarden/Stay At Home Festival earlier this year is definitely one of the best performances we've seen this year!

The sun was slowly setting in the Southwest on the day of the Winter solstice, the shortest day of the year.  Luckily the sky was clear so that the little witch and the forest animals could observe a rare celestial spectacle, the conjunction of the planets Jupiter and Saturn, an event so rare that only one old witch could remember the previous time this had happened (which was 800 years ago).  While the young witch was watching this magic spectacle in the heavens, her unborn baby was getting very active and kicking and pushing around inside the safety of her mother’s womb.  She was already 28 months pregnant (which is completely normal for a witch) but the last few weeks her belly was getting really big and she had completely lost her usual nimbleness.  On top of that it was already 6 months ago since she had seen her wizard, as he was once again visiting his ancestral lands in the African rain forest.  Meanwhile her unborn baby witch was getting extremely excited inside her belly.  This could only mean one thing … her father must have returned to the woods.  As the witch turned around, she saw his huge silhouette in the darkness (he’s 2m40 tall).  Without thinking, the girl raised her hands and launched a few hundred floating lights, which all settled in the nearby trees.  She felt his huge hands gently lifting up her tiny (1m58) body and soon both lovers exchanged the most tender kiss the forest had ever seen.  The forest animals and birds spontaneously uttered a collective ‘Awwwwww’ while watching this lovely spectacle, before fading away in the darkness and giving the happy couple some privacy.  Meanwhile, witch and wizard snuggled close to each other on a carpet of dry moss and after a while he laid his black hand on the milk white skin of her belly, feeling all the movements of his unborn daughter.  The close company of the giant wizard made the little witch feel very warm and after a while her body really started to glow, while her unborn baby stopped moving and seemingly braced for the big event.  The clear sky made way for clouds and soon rain and melting snow started to fall, while the witch felt her water break.  During this very wet night, 12 big waves of increasingly intense contractions went through the witch’s belly, but thanks to the loving presence of the wizard it all was bearable and at daybreak the forest got shaken up by the crying sounds of the newly born witch.  Clearly, she had excellent lungs but the soothing presence of her mom and dad soon calmed down the infant.  Her parents observed the features of the baby girl for hours, the very first witch of mixed blood in Northwestern Europe, marking a new highlight in the 21st century renaissance of the Witch & Wizard community.  The baby witch had inherited the mesmerizing green eyes of her mom and the curly black hair of her father, while her skin had an unique golden hue, a color which the world had never seen before.  Immediately, the witch and wizard sensed the baby girl had chosen the name AyAnA.
Soon the forest animals came to help the new parents, bringing food and water and all the birds donated a few plumes to make a soft and warm bed for the baby, who was already feeling so comfortable that she fell into a peaceful sleep in her warm new little cradle… while all the onlooking animals and birds couldn’t resist to utter yet another collective ‘Awwwwwww’ …

having nothing to do i just went around my hard drive and found this old recording. i remember that after the gig i was ashamed of my performance and didnt want to upload the mix. what the hell? i mean yeah, there are some imperfections. that's simply because i was damn drunk and we had a fucking wild party. isn't that what my life used to be about? @mrux, his drummer ronny, @leon-kostner and me travelled 2000km across europe to play this gig. take a break to imagine that. i would give a lot to have a party like this today and play a show like this today or anytime in the god-damn near future. just listening to the recording already gives me the craves and i cant help myself thinking, that actually everything was alright back then even if i thought it was shit. maybe it wasnt shit. or maybe it was a bit. but definitely not as shit as fucking today. i hope you can enjoy the dubs.  t

"We live in the direct stream of challenging times. 

Apart from pandemics, I see many problems for humankind and our connection to Mother Earth, so we have to multi-manage living with crises and transformation:   on a global, social and personal level. But we are not helpless victims.  We have the power to change.  I don’t belief in beliefs. I trust in experience, learning, thinking, intuition & love.

To tap into healing, it might be necessary to face our own dark and blind spots:  our shadows hiding in our subconsciousness, our traumas and addictions. It helps to see them for what they are, and how we relate to them. Hopefully we can find the power to integrate or transform them; to become more whole, attentive and joyful.. 

In this sense I created a soundscape for a shamanic-initiation-journey:  giving birth to the idea of a vision quest and personal transformation.  

Feel free to Imagine yourself to be protagonist.
Starting point of the story is our situation with our planet, our dear home.  Once on the shamanic way, the adept connects with nature and finds allies in supporting animal spirits. Following down the rabbit hole, traveling deeper into darker realms of the personality and the psyche.  Developing along basic questions of existence--as well as through missions & adventures--you find out more about your purpose in life.

And you move on in your own sacred dance. In the middle of the set you find a crucial point in facing death:  dissolving and getting stripped down to the bones and having them scattered all over. — After getting set together through allied-cosmic & ancestral forces, you come back to life with deeper knowledge about the ways of the soul circling the wheel of existence. 

Performing healing rituals and finding the trust to dive down into the otherworld to do service for your kinship, you walk the path of nature into the sacred forest.  With confidence and respect for all creation, seeing oneness and light, developing love and generosity, you're awakening to states of unison and bliss. Now the bigger picture of planetary healing and the preservation of life is coming back into focus. The way gets joyful and lightens up even more by meeting good old friends from the beginning for a chat :)
