Berlin-based DJ Yamour is an artist on the rise, with a trail of successful gigs at Blitz, numerous Giegling parties, and more and more appearances at Europe’s most discerning clubs and festivals. It's the perfect time to get to know this exciting selector, who will be gracing the decks at Blitz even more frequently in the future!

We recently sat down with Yamour, who spent years refining her musical knowledge at the iconic Hard Wax store in Berlin. Rooted in American House & Techno, Yamour’s sets are all about the groove. In our Blitzcast 022 and the accompanying interview, she shares insights into her stunning selection and what’s currently on her mind. Blitzcast 022 is a beautifully lush and dubby, yet decidedly funky and grooving affair, inspired by our BLITZ Floor: a great start to dive into the weekend!

Blitzcast 022 : Yamour

This is the second time I've spent my birthday weekend playing a set at Heideglühen, and I don't think I could spend the very beginning of my 30s in a better place. I'm so happy and grateful to have this amazing opportunity to play at my favourite club in the world, a club that feels like home, where I'm loved and appreciated. 

This is a re-recorded set inspired by the music I played at Heide on the 2nd of November, it’s not a recording from a club.

Under this new moniker he is keen to explore some of his foremost influences, drawing upon inspiration from the heady days of Trip-Hop and channeling his production credentials into a new sound.

For his first-ever published mix as Amine Laje, Romain Poncet crafts a deeply immersive journey through jazz-infused beats, melancholic textures, and raw, intuitive soundscapes.

The mix showcases a lot of unreleased songs that were created for the restaurant Datsha in Paris, alongside some tracks from the eponymous album.

Best enjoyed in a cozy setting, with warm lighting—let yourself get lost in the sound.
