In the aftermath of Chapter 24's second album release – The Myth of Tarae by young Parisian composer Anton Dhouran – comes the Editions package.

Dhouran's debut full-length LP is typically epic in its breadth and narrative, effortlessly melding the combination of electronic, instrumental and cinematic styles for which he has become known through labels such as Diynamic, Family N.A.M.E. and The Soundgarden.

Here the outstanding title track is reworked by three big hitters, each inspired by, and giving pride of place to, the transportive vocals of singer Ed Begley.

First up is Third Son, who marks a return to Chapter 24 with a standout driving, techno cut. The microCastle, Last Night On Earth and Polymath star delivers a pulsating track with a huge, detuned orchestral payoff which has been destroying dancefloors worldwide for many months.

Next is Olderic, the Venetian DJ and producer who has carved an enviable reputation for his productions on the likes of Connaisseur and Siamese as a solo artist, and on Get Physical and Innervisions in tandem with studio pioneer Andrea Doria as Stereocalypse. Olderic’s Edition hits his immaculate standards, being both innovative and forward-looking, heavily percussive and deeply trippy.

AZZUR label bosses Konvex & The Shadow close things out with a double helping of goodness. Their Rodeo Edition is furnished with a huge distorted arpeggiated bassline, swelling harmonies and excellent use of the original vocals. A dub version adds further variety. Meanwhile, their Celestial Edition offers soft chords and a more mellow, gently 80s-influenced dimension.

A new electronic ninja hero visited Spaghetti Monster this time! So warm welcome please to Inner Rebels well known producer with his own handcraft in music and a great ear for making real underground hits. This time he brought a collaboration together with a young Montenegro’s producer Millok and a Crete sound experimenter T. Pals. Those three expressed and mixed melodic and groovy stuff and deserved attention of mighty Pete Oak who is no need to be introduced to electronic music lovers but who appears first and hopefully not a last time on Spaghetti Monster Recordings. His remix is dry groovy killer for a hard night dance floor with up to 4k crowd on it moving rhythmic way. Next comes Haze-M with a gentle tech episode and edit of an original as usually delivering not a one more edit per EP but extra and awesome remix. An EP closes with some synths and grooves dropped by Paul Anthonee who already collabed Inner Rebels before and know how to fit his style well. This stuff deserves your attention this month and heats a room at all the degree after a cold winter.

Venetian DJ, producer and co-label-founder Olderic has implemented a trademark sound of his own over the past decade. Having released on renowned labels such as Connaisseur Recordings, Compost Records or Siamese the passionate artist raised the bar for up and coming music that is penned by himself. Not only does Enrico, how close friends call him, work solo when it comes to productions but appreciates his 'Stereocalypse' project with Andrea Doria. According to Enrico, he will strongly focus on the aforementioned project in the future and take a break as 'Olderic', so his reinterpretation of Anton Dhouran's 'The Myth of Tarae' will be the last release under Enrico's Olderic moniker in a while. The artist's invitation for a last dance or 'The Myth of Tarae (Olderic Edition)' is built around a vibrant bass line that leaves space for vocals which are drawn on the track's introductory phase. In the following Olderic adds vigorous synth-sounds highlighting the vocal's magic to create a mutual relationship between soundscapes and singing. Additionally further percussive elements are integrated in the overall soundscape emphasizing an enduring psychedelic effect throughout the track.
