Allo! Check out this. Something I made under my old dnb alias Station. I've decided to release it under my Psy Tech Funk alias "Isolate".This ones called 'Weep With Envy" on account of the American chap sample in the breakdown.

G'day folks! This is my set from the Easter Bush Doof, Frolick In The Forest (Four Twenty). It had to be the biggest bush doof I've ever been to. Close to 2000 people I reckon. I remember seeing a trailer made out of couches being towed behind someone's car. That was pretty cool. There was also a jumping castle and I think I also saw an mini golf course or something like that that someone had built.

This was my first gig since coming back from America. I played at 10:30 am Saturday morning. I played right across the board from breaks, deep house, techno, electro swing and anything in between. Anyhoo enough jibba jabba from me. Here's my set that I recorded. I would love to hear what you guys think! Peace and love as always.

Isolate - Live @ Frolick In The Forest (Four Twenty)

G'day everyone!

This is my latest release forthcoming on Yellowfinger Communications. It is with great pleasure that I can now share with you my second remix to be released. The original track is by a guy who goes by the name of "Toefinger", who has some solid releases on VIM Records and Yellowfinger.

When I made this remix I was very much inspired by the old tech funk sound of Rogue Element, Koma & Bones, Alex Metric to name a few and I wanted to produce something a bit more uplifting and funkier as a direct contrast to the original. I also wanted to incorporate some of the layered bass techniques I used in my dnb production to give it a real raw and chunky sound and this is what I came up with.

This one is coming out on June 13th on Yellowfinger. It will be out exclusively on Beatport for 2 weeks before making it's way to other music download stores.

Dan Discover - Blossom House Mix 2023

Hey guys and girls. This is my latest production, which is my first revamp of a favourite track of mine. The original is by Underworld and the remix was produced by Audiojack.  Seeing as though the track is a few years old, I wanted to give it a fresh vibe for the modern dance floor. 

I’ve been really inspired by Elite Force’s revamps over the years and I really wanted to create one of my own.  I feel it’s an exciting way of producing a unique version of a track that I like without just playing the original. I had so much fun making this tune and I can see myself doing a lot more of these in the future.

As always, I hope you guys like it. Feel free to leave a comment and/or share it. I always appreciate any feedback as it helps inspire me when I’m in the studio.

Stickybuds X K+lab - Feel The Weight (Dan Discover Remix) FREE DL

It was an honour and pleasure to play my first interstate gig at The Dragon Dreaming Festival in Wee Jasper, New South Wales. The location was stunning. I arrived there Saturday night after a 4 hour delay in Perth before flying to Canberra via Sydney. I remember waking up Sunday morning to get my first glimpse of the surrounding countryside and was blown away. I hadn't felt this good in such a long time.

As I walked through the crowds at Dragon Dreaming, I saw every single person wearing a smile from ear to ear, and not much else. It was the embodiment of love. Everyone was literally having the time of their lives. I was truly inspired!

This is my set from The Water Stage during sunset Sunday night. I would just like to thank all the people who worked tirelessly to create this magical festival. I was looked after so well.

Blazing Swan is the Burning Man Regional event for Western Australia. It is a week long annual event located next to the picturesque Jilakin Lake in Kulin. It is an experiment in community, art, radical self-expression, and radical self-reliance.

I had the opportunity to play at Kamp Koasis this year which is one of my favourite theme camps at Blazing Swan. It was clear to see how much effort went into making the camp. This had to be my favourite DJ set I've played to date. The crowd was amazing and there was so much collective energy. Thank you so much to all the people who shared this epic experience with me and thank you to all the volunteers and organisers at Blazing Swan and to the lovely people at Kamp Koasis for making what can only be described as a dream, come true.
