Joe Bailey (Guitar/Vocals/Keys)

There’s no roadmap in life, singer-songwriter & multi-instrumentalist Joe Bailey will be the first to tell you that. When he first started writing, he initially envisioned the songs with a full band. Little did he know it would morph into a full-fledged solo project.

“It was a blessing in disguise”. That’s how he describes the initial struggle of trying to form a 3-4-piece band, but ultimately failing due to other member's schedules. This left Joe to begin steering the helm on his own. What at first seemed like an unfortunate circumstance turned into a serendipitous situation: an ongoing collaboration with producer Ian Curnow (Talk Talk) was burgeoning, and the Bailey sound was headed in a new direction.

“We started building on these new songs that I’d written, not worrying about whether they would fit into the framework of a band. My sound started to evolve into a vocally-driven, almost grandiose folk pop kind of thing. Suddenly, there were no limits”

Joe's first introduction to the world was with his sparkling debut single "The Future". The song received a lot of good press and ongoing support from BBC Introducing Cambridgeshire along with many other radio stations. Since releasing his follow-up single "Change", he was nominated for an NMG Award and even won 2 slots at Camp Bestival 2019.

Poesi are an independent Alternative Melodic Rock band that consists of Kat, Oliver, AP, Ryan and Webby from Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.

Poesi's first EP ‘The Hourglass Sessions’ has proven popular with their audiences. ‘Start Again’ and ‘My Sweet Lullaby’ were warmly received and proved popular amongst the band's followers. Their second EP, ‘The Superficial Sessions’ is now available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon.com, HeartRadio and many more online sites.

Honest and emotive lyrics with a new found sound and style gives Poesi a unique sound which has been compared to the likes of Florence & The Machine, Evanescence and Fleetwood Mac.
