Emre Kavas aka (((emre))) started his career in ’97 at Açik Radio 94.9 Fm. In a short while he gained a spot on Istanbul’s Electronic Music scene with his wide selection genre’s of TripHop, DnB, Jungle and Techno. The same year he began his club Dj’ing career by becoming Resident Dj at (((godet))), the temple of Techno lovers of Electronic Music scene in Istanbul and his career had a huge acceleration.

     In time, his avant-garde style with Techno and sub-genre’s evolved into different genre’s such as Minimal House, Minimal Techno, Tech-House, Electro Techno ve Advanced Techno. His career since ’97, he developed a distinct style of Techno based on several elements ranging from banging club sessions to a specific minimal sound, all meeting at a clear, cutting edge and this is the magical formula which is his autograph. 

	He is still the owner of “Ağır Sanayi” (Heavy-Industrial), “Yan Sanayi” (Sub-Industrial), ve “Elektronik İyidir” (Electronic is Good) concepts of events via various radio stations and clubs around with his “Not At Home” organisation company for over 20 years.

A music lover from the start, Serhan Aydemir's musical journey first began by collecting cassette tapes around his home city of Istanbul in the late ’80s. By the mid-90s, he became a radio host. 

Being a kid in the ‘80s in an Eastern European city, Serhan Aydemir had all the tools he needed to transform this field of interest of his into a versatile skill. As he started to become more involved in his city's electronic music scene, he stepped it up by having his own slot on Istanbul's premier electronic music radio station Dinamo.fm. 

After moving to New York in 2010, his sound continued to evolve and in 2016 he got the opportunity to  mix some Turkish psychedelic tunes for Boiler Room. He released his debut EP on Pipe & Pochet in 2019 and got recognized right away with his track “Smarahna”, which was remixed by El Mundo & Zazou. After his “Smarahna” EP, he took part in Inward Records' latest VA with his production “Anatolian Ninja”, alongside artists Chambord, Raw Main and Pippi Ciez, to name a few.

Today as Memos, the Brooklyn-based DJ/producer mans the decks at two NYC nightlife hotspots as resident DJ, as well as continues to pursue his music production passion.

Caner Genç graduated from Bursa Fine Arts High School. During his early years, he performed in various regions of Turkey and Germany, playing bağlama, bass guitar, and percussion, which gave him a strong foundation in stage performance. He continued his education at Ege University State Conservatory, performing at numerous events in İzmir and Istanbul. Later, he completed his degree in Musicology at Mimar Sinan State Conservatory and earned his teaching certification.

Building on his long-standing stage experience, Caner combined his background with electronic music, stepping into the scene as a DJ and producer. He has performed at major indoor & outdoor events and festivals, sharing the stage with well-known artists.

Based in Istanbul, he is the founder of the Unique Division label and also provides electronic music education under Unique Sounds. Today, Caner Genç continues his work actively as a music producer, DJ, and educator.

Bursa Güzel Sanatlar Lisesinden mezun oldu. Lise yıllarında Türkiye’nin ve Almanya’nın çeşitli bölgelerinde bağlama, bas gitar ve perküsyon çalarak sahne deneyimi kazandı. Bu dönemde farklı müzik türleriyle sahnede olma alışkanlığını edindi ve performans kültürünü geliştirdi. Ardından Ege Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı Temel Bilimler Bölümünde eğitim aldı ve İzmir ile İstanbul’daki birçok etkinlikte yer aldı. Daha sonra Mimar Sinan Devlet Konservatuvarı Müzikoloji Bölümünde lisans eğitimini tamamladı ve öğretmenlik formasyonu alarak müzik öğretmeni sertifikasını elde etti.

Uzun yıllara dayanan sahne deneyimini elektronik müzikle birleştiren Caner Genç, DJ ve prodüktör kimliğiyle indoor & outdoor büyük etkinliklerde ve festivallerde önemli isimlerle aynı sahneyi paylaştı.

İstanbul merkezli Unique Division adlı label’ın kurucusu olan Caner Genç, aynı zamanda Unique Sounds çatısı altında elektronik müzik eğitimi vermekte; İstanbul’da müzik prodüktörü, DJ ve eğitmen olarak aktif çalışmalarını sürdürmektedir.
