Psicotek - Haunted Mire

Subtle Lines, Radiation Pattern's debut album, is a deep and personal exploration  between structure and spontaneity, form and dissolution, control and resistance. 

Drawing from his early engagement with harder techno, he distills raw intensity while interplaying with humming drones and hidden melodies.

Opening with the ethereal ‘Purifica’, the album transitions into the title track’s geometric rhythms, navigating between ambient elements and the relentless energy of club culture. 

Some of the tracks, like ‘EVO’ and ‘Summoning’, directly express the electronic music communities that have shaped Simone’s experiences—spaces of connection, defiance, and transformation that  pulse with the tensions of capitalism, hope, and revolution that his musical journey embodies.

Next up in our mix series is Wave Arising aka 69db aka Sebastian Vaughan, a pioneering live electronic artist and longtime member of legendary collectives spanning all the way back to the 90s, such as Spiral Tribe, SP23, R-Zac, Stormcore and Network 23 Recordings. Alongside dancer Kynsie, he fuses weightless techno with spiritual and ritualistic elements for the Wave Arising project, creating a new frequency of rave culture through sound and movement. With roots in dub, hip house, acid house, and Detroit techno - and as a co-creator of the hard-Tek/tribe genre—his drummer's foundation keeps his music deeply rhythm-driven, as heard in last year’s release ‘The Rooted Sky’.

In this mix, Sebastian delivers a 90-minute live set that showcases his signature improvisational approach. He experiments with shifting rhythms and layered textures, steadily evolving the energy with a sense of patience and intent. It is as hypnotic as it is groovy - shifting from minimal, polyrhythmic pulses to fuller, weightless grooves.
