Dangerous Returns rose from the ashes of a band that the rhythm section fell out of. Greg Cadarean on drums and David Nelms on bass immediately knew who to recruit on guitar. Josh Mahinay had played an outdoor Halloween neighborhood party that David offered his bass services for and an immediate bond was formed. After a small handful of rehearsals with several songs already written, the band responded to a Craigslist listing from singer Alix Fernández looking for other musicians to play with. With the perfect match of musical tastes, direction and goals, the band was fully formed and continued to increase their list of original songs as only 4 perfectly matched musicians can.

Preparing their setlist throughout the first few months of 2017, Dangerous Returns is prepared for an all out sonic assault on Austin and surrounding areas with a sometimes smooth and sometimes heavy yet controlled Rock N' Roll sound that is the result of four distinct musicians each with their own fascinating histories and musical tastes.
