Unlike their recent Drumcode release 'Unanswered Question', ‘You Know’ is a deep house killer that will appeal to new and old fans alike. Using a number of melodies within both the bass line and melodic synth that sits at the back of the mix, these two elements harmonise together smoothly and create an ear catching juxtaposition that will get the dance floor rocking before the vocal roars over the track.

Of the distinct identities merely remains the ethereal, synthetic essence devoted to the group, and the common musical passion that leads it. The formula is elaborated freely: each one's adjunctions -subtle keys, nervous chords, underground blows, rhythmical uproars- pour into a thick maelstrom, opaque, condensing Detroit's grieving sensibilities as well as last decade's bewildering cacophonies. The potion obtained is irresistible, an ecstatic hybrid, prodigiously actual, that renders all the genre's diversity and dynamism.
Chance intertwined their paths and now the three companions celebrate both the friendship that resulted and the good fortune that has driven it, by improvising live together as one faceless, solid body agitated by the urge of dance and music, composing the material that shall be processed later on to form their eponym label's releases.

Josh Wink, the man behind Ovum Recordings, has been a treasured member of the worldwide house and techno community since the early 90s. 

Throughout his long-running career, the American DJ and producer has released four albums and released on labels such as R&amp;S and Strictly Rhythm, the latter providing a home for 1995's acid smasher 'Higher State Of Consciousness'.

Möd3rn is a global project from 3 wellknown artists who wanted to give a side project from their own solo career. It's a band, producing, playing live but it's also a label created only for the trio productions. Each releases will propose 3 tracks from the 3 artists. For that first one the famous trio propose 3 huges bombs Mö4, Mö5 and Mö6, 3 huge techno killer using rough skins with raw edit. Speech less and listen to that we can call Pure TEchno.

When Henrik Schwarz heard the music from Johannes Brecht he knew the time was come to reactivate his label SUNDAY-MUSIC again. Johannes is a wonderful musician that also writes music for orchestra. When a classically trained musician looks into electronic music and manages to bring together the best of both worlds the result can be very exciting. On this EP are 3 tracks that show his versatility and musicality. The tracks vary from synth lines, to jacking house over to minimal.

NICOLE MOUDABER LAUNCHES HER MOOD LABEL IN STYLE THIS FEBRUARY WITH A STRIKING UNDERGROUND THREE TRACK EP

MOOD Records, the brand new label founded by The Queen of Techno Nicole Moudaber, launches in February 2013 with a killer three-track EP with a Nathan Barato remix and a re-work from Nicole herself. MOOD’s inaugural release will set the tone for showcasing the finest underground sounds which are both produced and supported by the DJ/Producer.

The imprints debut track ‘In The Mood’ features the considerable vocal talents of Hosie. Centred on a tightly programmed funky groove and shimmering chords, the unmistakeable and infectious Hip-Hop influenced vocal complements Nicole’s expertly honed studio-skills. Aimed firmly at the dance-floor this percussive house outing demonstrates Nicole’s versatility, and will be a welcome addition to the record bags of a plethora of DJs.

On the flip side, Nicole Moudaber again steps up to provide a much deeper rework of her original production. Here Nicole strips back the beat to its thumping bare bones and removes much of Hosie’s original vocal leaving only echoing snippets, thus expertly creating a fresh atmosphere and tension.

As the ethos of MOOD is to provide an outlet for works from both established names and newcomers alike, it is fitting that the inaugural release is rounded off with a fine remix by up-and-coming Canadian producer Nathan Barato. Nathan transforms the original by removing many of the groovy elements, instead adding driving hi-hats and a rolling bass which feature heavily throughout the track’s series of exciting peaks and troughs. 

Due for release in late February, ‘In The Mood’ is a deadly debut EP for MOOD which is firmly steeped in the underground, and leaves listeners eagerly anticipating the labels next output.
