Hey everyone!! This release is a fairly personal one, and I wanted to start 2023 off strong. For those who don't know, 2022 was a bit of a rough year for several personal reasons, but for this project it was a huge milestone of a year. I want to thank everyone who's ever listened to my music or commented, it literally meant the absolute world this year. I also want to say a huge thank you to Skye for not only releasing these stems, but for helping my career in SEVERAL ways over the years, and being a great friend too :) I put my all into this remix, and since it's been a while, I'm making it a free download as well. My first release of 2021 was a remix of another Skybreak tune, and I thought it'd be fitting to do the same thing for 2023. This is the year I really feel like all this hard work comes together.

2024 was the warmup I needed to get all my remaining music out and wrap up the first decade of Paper Skies. Stepping into 2025; I've never felt so rewarded with the opportunities coming my way - going to take full advantage of every single one, I've never felt so confident in the brand I'm building, and I've never been happier with the consistent new sound of all the music I have coming up. I feel like each of my descriptions on my releases is like a log where I just talk about however tf I'm feeling RIGHT now that I know only my real supporters read, so this will be a good one to look back on. None of what's gonna happen this year is possible without the support of you, reading this right now. Not to "big things coming soon" I'm just really excited.

Obviously always loved Knock2's song writing so I really wanted to spin a cut off his new album. Hope you like my take on this one and tried a few different things across the track.

I made this back in 2018!! It never got posted anywhere publicly, I dropped it at shows and in a mix I did for Kanibalen.
I remember hearing the original track and loving that vocal section. It's so dark and atmospheric, so much raw emotion in there. Straight away I knew I wanted to take that section and make something new with it.
Some of you have been asking for this one for many years and I'm so excited to be able to share this now, remixed and mastered for 2025 but staying true to how it was.
