"A few years ago I had the chance to become a DJ. I was playing few nights a week in this small cellar club. The club did not have the newest technology so I played with old cdj´s that only support cd´s. Every gig night I packed my bag with a case of burned cd´s in my bag and I walked to the club two blocks from my house. I am happy as a new DJ to have experienced more old-fashioned way to start my journey while I clearly missed the golden vinyl era. I still have my case of cd´s and it gives me such a nostalgic feeling whenever I see them." - Annie Hill

"This EP is composed of two big tracks, the first one is called "Hypnosis" being a very melodic track   with a groove bassline and drums pushing around, we also got some AI vocals with spaceship fx to create the atmosphere. On the other hand We've got "Inertia" which is  a track with a very heavy lead sound and vocal pads with a very emotional breakdown. The purpose of this collab is  to deliver a good Ep to our fans in Sydney specially, as they've been supporting us from the very beginning and we're sure that both tracks will do very well"

Weska is next generation techno megastars, already enjoying massive support from the highest echelons of techno royalty, Adam Beyer not least.
After being featured on Drumcode Radio everything changed for this brilliant Canadian, and support from Eric Prydz, Christian Smith, Bart Skils, Timmo and legendary Sven Väth has quickly followed, as have remixes and releases on Drumcode, Cocoon, Octopus, Suara, Kraftek, Mute, Tronic and Filth On Acid.

“Falling” is the first one out on Tiger Stripes imprint Strange Idols Recordings, which is now on it’s 12th amazing instalment. 

The Original is a high-octane peak time monster with spring loaded kick drum and demonic voices jumping out from the speakers at distortion levels, creating a sinister yet powerful backdrop leading into the melodic break where Weska shows off his enviable skills as a future electronic music producer of great prominence. Merging the anthemic musical elements and angelic voices with the raw unrestrained techno power he possesses, he creates an unstoppable belter of a track rushing towards you at breakneck speed. That combination has become somewhat of a trademark sound for Weska, who continues to impress both as a producer and as a DJ, where his talents are really put on show playing to packed crowds all over the world.

Tiger Stripes takes it one step further by adding an acid-techno bassline and a doomsday sounding kickdrum that will cut through stone. The unmistakable indie-tainted melodies we have learned to love from this Stockholm producer gives the mix a distinct personality, but while he further enhances the melodic elements to make us feel warm and fuzzy inside, at any given moment, without warning, he’s brutally cutting them short, leaving the listener on his toes, waiting, just bracing for impact. For when that soft warm feeling gets an abrupt end, and the brutal kick comes back in, there is just nowhere to hide.

Safe to say these two version will find their respective fans, but more likely both versions will find its way into the sets of many a discerning DJ who would pick up on the subtle yet  obvious differences of the two versions, and choose the right mix for the exact right moment with the sensitive touch of a renaissance painter. The result will be the same, absolute chaos on the dancefloor.

Op het toilet hangt deze foto en als ik deze zie dan herinnert het mij er aan hoe heerlijk het is om helemaal los te gaan.

Ik begin weer langzaam onder mijn steen uit te komen en deze set is dan ook weer lekkere dansbare Techno. De set begint met wat opwarmertjes om jezelf uiteindelijk helemaal te kunnen verliezen. Lekker luisteren of beter dansen nog ;-) #NO CONTROL

Unrilis is pleased to welcome Argentina based artists Lautaro Ibanez Featuring Mart.in for their first EP Release on the Imprint.

Lautaro Ibanez who already released a bomber track in Unrilis’ The Blokk this year has a very rich catalog on labels such as Lagend, Set About and Made in Brussels among others. On the other hand Mart.in’s first release was 2 years ago on Pure Dope Digital and also released on Orange Recordings. Together Lautaro Ibanez & Mart.in have released Seven Collaboration EPs together which shows their amazing relationship and harmony in terms of techno.

Lautaro Ibanez ‘’With Mart-in we are really good friends and we collaborate a lot to make music, which makes the teamwork much easier. When we unite our style we exploit our potential to the fullest and we really understand each other when we create music. Our style is characterized by the mixture of the old and new school, mainly between house and techno.

‘’In this EP we are looking to have a lot of groove accompanied by emotional melodies to generate an entertaining and energetic atmosphere. The tracks also feature the presence of 90s vocals, some percussive stabs and a battery with good impact to finish closing these pieces for the dance floor.’’

In the mid 90’s she started on the wheels of steels with vinyl. She learned to mix with early rave music. But later on also played trance and house music. She did some little gig’s, but for personal reasons she had to quit. 

25 years she regained her pleasure and gets in love again ❤️
