Not all first times are really great, but my first time playing at Acid Bogen in @kater_blau a couple weeks ago really really surpassed what I had envisioned and could have wished for the occasion. Initially, I was supposed to play B2B once again with my dear friend @janoma, but unfortunately he couldn't be present on that day. Luckily, the slot was perfect for me alone as well - early Saturday morning, sunrise time.

I absolutely love to play sunrise (and sunset 😉) sets, as they are perfect for dwelling between light and darkness. In those early hours, when tiredness kicks in, but the longing to connect and to dance is stronger, the atmosphere tends to be very inviting for warmth, charm, depth, dreaminess and intimacy. And so it was, in the so called here's and now's which took place then. I think I had never seen Acid Bogen so full at that time of the morning as in the last hour of my set (: More important than that, I had the right people by my side supporting me, which makes all the difference!! All of this together simply created such an amazing vibe for the brand new day that just started. A day which I don't want to ever forget ❤️ so much gratitude to all the dancers who danced their souls out, especially to my long-term listeners and those closer ones which I carry dearly in my heart 🙏

When we first met Kahmeya, we immediately fell in love with her positive energy and contagious enthusiasm. To top it off she always delivers uplifting sets, without losing sight of the melodic and warm sounds we love so much. So there was no doubt about asking her for our Wolvenroedel Radio Show - and she brought us a little surprise. In her own words:

Hey beautiful people. I am So honored to record this mix for my amazing talented friends from Wolvenroedel.

My sets are usually an energetic mix of indie dance and organic/ tribal house, often adding live vocals as well. Pushing grooves, trance vibes, with psychedelic and ethnic elements. Fiery, sexy, bossy. But! I just woke up one morning last week and felt like playing some more downtempo vibes. And when I started the first track I was like. Fuck it, let’s just hit ‘Rec’ and see where this goes. I went gazing in all the corners of my usb. Where I normally don’t go that often. Rediscovering all kinds of tunes and getting hyped by all the good music these talented producers made. Damn, that was fun!

I think it turns out pretty nice and wanted to share this mix with you through Wolvenroedel. Thank you Yondi and Ed for believing in me, and supporting me ❤️ I love your parties, I love the Wolvenroedel family. I appreciate you as individuals, as dj’s, as friends, very very much and I admire all the hard work you put into this. Let’s meet on the dance floor soon.

Finally I got to set foot on one of the greatest festival grounds of The Netherlands: Wildeburg. For some reason it just never happened before. Because I wasn’t into raving yet, or because I didn’t manage to get one of those extremely popular tickets, and then I did two times but other plans took over.

This year I got to go, and finally experienced the magic myself. And I hope i brought a little bit of magic as well, with this set that took us into the evening. I tried to cross the bridge from Thommie G before me to the live band Mèraque after me, so you can expect a bit of a soft landing. Hope you enjoy!
