Bio:
Four Hands - this is Alex and Marcel.
Grown up in Mainz, Germany, Alex has found his passion for music quite early. Starting with the piano he has decided to swap it for two record players and a mixing console at the age of 15.

Four Hands first release "Springfield EP" on Hover Mind in July 2019 is just one homage to playful synthesizers. The Remix Version of Springfield by ANMA reached #3 in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno HYPE Charts and #38 in the Beatport Melodic House & Techno Overall Chart

The second release in 2019 has also entered the Beatport Top100. Their track Scorpio on their Redemption EP on ALETHEIA RECORDINGS reached #11 in the Beatport Progressive House HYPE Charts and #50 in the Beatport Progressive House Overall Charts.

Recently another big project has been launched in April 2019 - VERSPIELT Musik by Four Hands has hosted successfully its first club event on June 21st in Dora Brilliant Frankfurt (Tanzhaus West) with amazing artists like ARTBAT, Musumeci and local starlet Carla Casanova.

In 2020 the project VERSPIELT will also become a Record Label based in Frankfurt am Main / Germany.

3 years ago I made my very first Distant episode. I could never have dreamed of all it would lead to. It exceeded all of my expectations, and more. 36 episodes later, and because we could never let an opportunity for a party pass us by, I wanted to do something special to celebrate the last couple of very exciting and wonderful years. Together. With you.

Thumper Sounds 40 - DJ Morreel

Daniel Carlsson aka Dani-C is a Dj from Stockholm, Sweden. From an early age, he performed his own songs, which he wrote in school. From that time on, he knew that someday music and performance was going to be something he would do for the rest of his life. He had found his passion and calling.

In 1983, as a 12 year old, he took his first steps into Pipers, a big disco in Torremolinos, Spain. The atmosphere was euphoric. DJ was playing Kool & the Gang, "She's Fresh". The dance floor was moving/bouncing up and down. The coloured disco lights were striking him like thunderous lightening bolts from heaven! It was confirmed, Dani-C wanted to be a DJ.

Dani-C has a huge collection of vinyl, with covering many styles, but it was the electronic music from the end of the 80's that influenced him the most. 

For that reason, he started listening to Techno and Trance in the mid 90's. Artists like Oliver Lieb, Emmanuel Top, Etnica and X-Dream were almost Gods to him.

But as time went by... it was one artist and album, that infected him the most into his love of "Progressive House" today, and that was the one and only, UK Sasha... with his  Global Underground Ibiza...
