Melodic Beats Podcast #64 is courtesy of Belms. ARRVL records main man, Belms has given us an hour and a half of his sound. ARRVL records has been solidly providing great music on their label of late, along with putting on sell out events in the London area, Belms has been doing what he loves, playing and producing great dance music. With the restrictions lifting across the UK, in his own words “In a timely manner, the majority of this mix is more dancefloor focused, it’s not to be listened to sitting down, plenty of groove and energy. A couple of new ones from me, and some from ARRVL, as well as some other amazing tracks I’m loving of late. So much great music out there right now!” 
Also in the planning has been their, what will be a sell out, collaboration event with Selador Records, SELADORIA… something to certainly look forward to…

BIO

Born in 1977 in ex-Jugoslavia - Republic Slovenia, to Slovenian mother and Arabian father, which influenced her music selection with oriental rhythm and vocals. Music was always an important part of her life, she explored many generes - from disco, rock, metal, hard core, raggie, jazz,... towards electronic music , where she discovered a diversity of genres and sounds and many of them inspired her - she likes deep, powerful sounds in progressive house, techno, house, and always finds inspiration in other genres such as dub, ethno,.. She likes to share the passion for music with the world, so she`s spreading underground music live and on radio shows, where she`s been active since 2011.

- a radio host of Alfatronica Radioshow on former Slovenian radio station Radio Alfa until January 2013.

Arun is a DJ and dynamic music producer hailing from the Garden City of Bangalore, India. Started his career in 2008 in Deep and Progressive House and continues with an unmatched passion for Deep and Organic Sounds.

Born and raised in Bangalore, he was exposed to diverse musical genres from an early age, which fostered his deep appreciation for music. Inspired by iconic artists such as Carl Cox, Eric Prydz, and Deadmau5, he began honing his skills as a DJ and producer, blending various styles to create his unique sonic identity.

His musical journey took flight when he started experimenting with production software's and discovered his innate ability to craft innovative tracks. Combining melodic elements with infectious rhythms, his productions reflect his love for Organic, Deep House, and Progressive House, creating an irresistible sonic experience that keeps dancefloors moving.

Hello everyone and welcome to the exclusive Progcast from Il Modo, your weekly trip around Planet Progressive. Join us as we traverse the globe in search of the best and boldest DJ Mixes we can find, while delivering them direct to your ears! 

This week sees us head back Stateside, with a veteran DJ returning to the Il Modo decks. Stepping right out of the fabled Florida rave scene, our guest today knows how to smash any dance floor he comes across. Make some noise for Ablekid! 

Ablekid, aka Daniel Moore is a veteran DJ/producer from the Orlando underground. His journey into dance music was as fortuitous as it was inevitable with his introduction to dance music beginning in the late 80's and early 90's with legendary Central Florida clubs like Aahz and Marz. 

After picking up a set of decks in 2000, he started buying vinyl by the crate-load. While honing his skills he began an internet radio show at the Drop Shop in Orlando with fellow DJ, Bert Simmons, and soon, a small following developed. 

Fast-forward to a move to the musical hotbed of Austin, Texas in 2009, the Ablekid moniker had seen success in various forms. Now signed to Praveen Achary’s Juicebox Music imprint, along with older releases on Christian Lang’s Kindred Recordings (Paris) and Rapid Fire Records (Miami), Daniel had also fostered many relationships in the community by becoming part of the esteemed Release Promo roster more than a decade ago. 

In 2018 he was tapped to be FRISKY Radio's "Artist of the Week" and afterward was offered his own slot on the esteemed site where his show, Waveforms, has enjoyed over 6 years of success. His continued success in the US underground is a combination of effective crate digging, silky smooth DJ skills and just the right amount of grit and determination. His mixes and productions are the result of all this hard work and show a depth of knowledge and attention to detail. 

2024 will see new music released after a long break from production, and some of the scene's freshest underground talent as guests on his Frisky show, stay tuned.

So far, she has shown her growing talent to audiences in various clubs in Zagreb, Rijeka, Slavonski Brod and Slovenia. Marcela is a resident of the UMC events collective, where she had the opportunity to play with famous German duo, Pornbugs.

Dani-C - Progressive Underground @ Proton Radio 113 [Oct] 2024 Sc Edition

Daniel Carlsson aka Dani-C is a Dj from Stockholm, Sweden. From an early age, he performed his own songs, which he wrote in school. From that time on, he knew that someday music and performance was going to be something he would do for the rest of his life. He had found his passion and calling.

In 1983, as a 12 year old, he took his first steps into Pipers, a big disco in Torremolinos, Spain. The atmosphere was euphoric. DJ was playing Kool & the Gang, "She's Fresh". The dance floor was moving/bouncing up and down. The coloured disco lights were striking him like thunderous lightening bolts from heaven! It was confirmed, Dani-C wanted to be a DJ.

Dani-C has a huge collection of vinyl, with covering many styles, but it was the electronic music from the end of the 80's that influenced him the most. 

For that reason, he started listening to Techno and Trance in the mid 90's. Artists like Oliver Lieb, Emmanuel Top, Etnica and X-Dream were almost Gods to him.

But as time went by... it was one artist and album, that infected him the most into his love of "Progressive House" today, and that was the one and only, UK Sasha... with his  Global Underground Ibiza...
