Stefan Schleich, born in the 80s, is one of the founders of KLANGEXTASE. His style is defined by a strong digital influence, chopped vocals, multiple sound layers and lots of clicks, pops and noises.

Matthias Kunze was born in Halle/Saale where he spent most time of his life before he moved to the amazing city of Hamburg. His musical journey as a DJ gained speed especially with the beginning of KLANGEXTASE back in 2008. KX started as a repetitive radio stream with friends and evolved over time to one of the most influential music platforms.

Matthias’ sound convinces by a special mixture of driving beats, atmospheric and melodic sounds, ingeniously embedded vocals, and above all, a great deal of saturated bass. The most important thing for Matthias during a gig is fun: „If you are happy with your music and the environment, your audience will be too!“
The KLANGEXTASE podcast, with more than 5 million listeners, is one of the most influential platforms for electronic music. The project began as Stefan Schleich and friends started to stream live mixes on the Internet. The livestream no longer exists today, but since then more than 500 podcasts from well known names and carefully selected newcomers were published.
