"Fantasía" es el primer disco del músico madrileño Pijamapaul. Combina ritmos africanos y latinos y percusiones tribales y tropicales con arreglos inspirados en la música clásica y alternativa y voces influenciadas por el reggae y el panalivio. Sus letras son esquivas y basadas en poemas libres de escritura automática que evocan lo perdido y lo nunca vivido, el subconsciente que nos habla sesgado por la percepción y la obsesión por la belleza. Pijamapaul actúa como reflejo, como espejo del mundo que florece en cada uno como verdad subjetiva.

ARRUDA, aka Daniel Arruda, is a Berlin-based singer songwriter from Sao Paulo, Brazil whose music and on-stage charisma conjure up a vast melting pot of world music influences. 
 
Early career successes performing and recording with Brazil’s Relo Rolo selling more than 20,000 vinyl copies, an impressive feat for an independent album, set the stage for 15 years touring Europe, notably in Spain and Germany. 
 
During that time, Arruda has performed with the likes of Nego Kbca, Cia de Operaios and as a solo artist at numerous well known world music festivals, including Brasil No Ar (Barcelona),  Rudolstadt Festival, Bremer Karneval and at many of the leading live music venues in his adopted home town of Berlin. 
 
His latest studio album “Semente”, set for release in March 2020, is a masterful collection of contemporary Brazilian music, ranging from classic roots to reggae to romance to upbeat electronic moments of pure bliss. 
 
The array of colour will twist and bend your mind into unquestionably beautiful spaces fit not only for your favourite Spotify playlists but, more importantly, for the new decade.

Produced in Berlin at the world renowned Bakermoon Studios in collaboration with British producer Ed Bentley and a whole host of well regarded musicians, Arruda will be hitting the road with “Sêmente” fresh of the press in spring 2020.
