This is a song about depression and survival. 

When I wrote it I still had another 25 years of surviving it ahead of me. But I'd made a decision years before, when I was 14, that no matter how bad it got it would always get better, sooner or later. And it always did, at least for a while. And knowing that somehow made it just a little bit easier to smile.

I've been working in several songs. Putting a big effort, I'm gonna do the continuations of some of songs I've published in the near past, like Thornless Roses Suite, Crystal Sky Suite and some Piano tracks, like Back Home. Here and there, I'll be posting new Pop songs too. I just need to focus on the continuations of old projects. From the Pop, next song which is already done, it will be a Heavy Metal/Hard Rock song. Just to vary a little bit and don't be so focused in the Love things! Haha.

Today, me and my friend Cool Happy Cissa (@coolhapoy in Suno.com) are releasing a song that is a collab about the Writer's Block. It is a non-medical condition, primarily associated with writing, in which an author is either unable to produce new work or experiences a creative slowdown. Resuming: you got stopped to make new content. It happens with composers, lyricists, singer-songwritters, youtubers, etc. But, we are here to put a stop on this bad dude! :) Hope you guys like it!

Also, I'm working in instrumental compositions, mostly Jazz and Classical Music. Coming soon hardcore stuff in 5/4!!! :D

Michael Suttree is an alt-country and acoustic rock singer-songwriter whose songs trace the fault lines between anger, tenderness, and redemption. Born in Asheville, North Carolina, in 1985, Suttree grew up surrounded by the Appalachian folk tradition, the outlaw country records of his father, and the underground rock cassettes traded among friends.

At eighteen, he left home and spent years drifting across the South and Midwest — working odd jobs in coal towns, sleeping in his truck outside dive bars, and honing his craft on borrowed guitars. These restless years gave birth to his lyrical style: plainspoken, raw, and laced with a poet’s eye for detail.

I write songs.  I'm not a performer any more than I need to be to have my songs heard once in a while. I hope that better musicians than I encounter my songs and decide to play them.  I just write songs to have them exist in the world. If the world likes them then the world can do with them what it will.  All these recordings are demos.  I've tried to make them as musically interesting as I can but they are all awaiting the skilled hand of someone who knows how to make songs shine.
