Musician Zachary “Status” Young has been writing and recording music for over 20 years. Hailing from Colorado – Status proudly represents his half Italian/half Irish heritage with brooding tales about growing up in the predominantly Latino/Catholic North-side of Denver. With writing and production credits on over fifteen projects released digitally worldwide, Status has proven time and time again that his unique blend of Hardcore Hip-Hop and Rock influenced production sets his music apart from his peers. Many local and national publications (such as Hiphoplead.com, Colorado Music Buzz, Westword Magazine and Image Magazine), have praised Status for his unique and often genre bending production and song writing. With feet planted firmly in both Hip-Hop and Rock music, Status has continuously garnered fans from both the “backpacker crowd” and the “metal/punk scene.” People describe his music as aggressive and hard hitting, brash and creative.
