*The Music*

With influences ranging from the raw funk of James Brown to the progressive jazz infusions of Steely Dan and from the authentic blues of B.B. King to the monster licks of Frank Gambale, Therman has found his own unique sound; creating music that goes beyond the norms. 
His passion for guitar resonates through his music and earned him an appearance on the 2015 series of Sky Arts "Guitar Star" competition.

"...my desire is to create timeless music that appeals to a wide cross-section of listeners; providing them with something completely fresh and new, yet familiar.  Songs with strong lyrics and addictive melodies that will stir their emotions, lift their spirits and remain firmly embedded in their hearts."

*The Man*

Musician, singer, songwriter, producer, author; Therman has spent his life immersed in the pursuit of music that will inspire, uplift and provoke thought and meditation. 

African-American, born and raised in the mean streets of West Philadelphia Therman had to rise up from the adversity he faced everyday; being surrounded by deprivation, gang violence and broken families.  Raised by a single mother of ten children who possessed strong values, faith, character and high self esteem, Therman was taught at an early age how to be "in" the ghetto but not "of" the ghetto.  Choosing music instead of violence, at the age of 13, he formed a talented and dynamic nine piece band (including a horn section)which gained him popularity and respect in the community by demonstrating that you could do well and achieve great things in spite of your environment.

Therman resides in the UK where he's lived for many years.  All of his songs are written by him and produced and recorded in his own studio.  Many of his musical contemporaries have lost their passion over the years; however, Therman says, "As for me, I will continue to play my guitar, sing, write and record my music until God says otherwise!"

Peter Daley Music experienced in composing and arranging music to moving image; composes in many styles of music is reliable, flexible and enthusiastic about their projects. Also produces tracks in various genres.
