42 Degree's

Two refugees of 1938 nazi germany, a World War One veteran, and a friend who'd been living in the US during WWII, co-wrote this song to share truth with young people so that history not repeat itself. This mix takes their original folk-hymn melody and adds beats with support from Ill Chemist.

Daniel Duane Deardorff or 3D is a life long songwriter and multi instrumentalist. In the early years of his recording career (then called Danny) he worked with the best musicians in Los Angeles, including Louie Shelton, Jeff Pocaro, and David Hungate. Deardorff later worked in Seattle as a producer and arranger. From there he went on to author a book “The Other Within: the Genius of Deformity in Myth, Culture, & Psyche” and spent another decade as a storyteller and mythologist.  On 9/19/19, when he left this world, he left a legacy of published and yet to be released music and myth-telling recordings, teachings, writings and artwork including Polio: A Blues Album and two more albums’ worth of recorded new songs.
