Daniel Donikk - F'tronica (work In Progress)

DJ, Recording and Mix Engineer, Sound Engineer, Foley Artist, Music for Video, Sound Designer, Music Producer, Electronic Music Production and Composition.
Daniel Donikk a.k.a. Dainis Doniks originally from Latvia and got a passion for music and especially DJs when seen them on stage for the first time in his life when he was 8. Later he started his career as a DJ in the music industry from the age of 14 back in ’99.  Coached younger generation at the DJ School from 2003 before he moved to the United Kingdom in 2006 where he decided to expand his knowledge in Sound Theory, Acoustics and Electronic Music Production. After several years of self-education and research, he entered the dBs Music Institute in Bristol (2016) where studied Music Production, Studio Recording, Sound Processing, Mixing and Mastering, Synthesis, Analog and Digital Sound, Sound Design and Music for Video and graduated with the highest marks. In spare time he is producing electronic music, recording the ‘alfresco’ sounds with own HiRes zoom recorder and keeps updating his sample library with newly recorded sounds which successfully using for sound design and foley in his production. Following to his passion to become a big name artist and inspire other people with his musical artwork and life experience, nowadays known as Daniel Donikk (stage name), he enthusiastically continues to develop skills in electronic dance and underground music.

For extra activities, he took on an internship with YPN (Youth Production Network group) and worked on stages at Glastonbury Festival ’17 (the Other Stage) and ‘19 (the Pyramid Stage) where helped rigging P.A. systems and performed all kinds of work on the stage that is connected with sound and acoustics. His knowledge and skills in management also helped him successfully fulfil duties as assistant manager on the Main Stage at the Shambhala Festival ’17, at the Bristol Valley Fest ’17 he was performing as the Live Sound Engineer. On the Boardmasters Festival ’18 with Delta Crew he performed all kind of work on backstage, worked on Creamfields Festival ’18 and other events across the United Kingdom.

In Summer 2018 moved to London where he is currently studying Electronic Music Production and Composition at the University of West London.
