Born 1977, in a small town near Cologne (Germany), Barbaros emerged as a vibrant force in the electronic music scene. Barbaros, he began his musical journey in 1994, playing at local parties and honing his craft as a DJ.

His early influences stemmed from the dynamic US hip-hop scene, which sparked his passion for music and led him to explore new sounds.

As he delved deeper into the realm of music, Barbaros found inspiration in the iconic sounds of bands like Depeche Mode, guiding him toward the electronic side of music.

Starting with trance, he eventually gravitated toward the rich, global textures of UK progressive trance, infused with deep elements that would define his style. The vibrant house music scene blossoming in Cologne in the early 2000s further fueled his creative fire, pushing him to innovate and experiment.

In 1999, Barbaros took a significant leap by diving into music production, culminating in his first release, "Secrets of Loneliness," in 2000, under Clubbgroove Records. His impressive discography now boasts over 150 original tracks and remixes, showcasing his unique sound and artistry.

From 1995 to 2004, Barbaros held the prestigious position of resident DJ at one of North Rhine Westphalia's largest clubs, where he shared his passion for music with a diverse audience.

In 2002, he co-founded the record label Three Elements with two friends, fostering a platform for emerging talent. Continuing to expand his musical horizons, Barbaros established Noreira Records in 2011 to further influence the electronic music landscape.

With a reputation that spans national and international borders, Barbaros has played at numerous prestigious festivals and clubs, captivating audiences with his exhilarating sets. Additionally, he embraced the role of a radio host, presenting a monthly show on Evosonic from 2017 until 2024, where he shared his musical insights and showcased his creative vision.

Barbaros describes himself as neither underground nor overly commercial, but rather as an artist dedicated to pushing boundaries and exploring the depths of electronic music. His unique blend of styles and unwavering passion continues to resonate with fans around the globe, solidifying his status as a distinctive figure in the electronic music scene.
