Mladen Tomic returns to Night Light Records with three summer techno tracks. The opening song ‘Inside The Bottle’ is more heavier and more focused on a sub baseline. It has a clean techno sound with some of Mladen’s minimal signature parts. The second track on the EP is called ‘Voice Of The Bass’ which leads us into a more driving sound with an intense break; perfect for the hottest moment of your set. Iboga Records has Tripswitch's Vagabond Remix EP comin' up & we had the oppurtunity to Premiere GMJ's remix on "Glass Heart", which might actually be my favorite track out of this remix compilation, thar doesn't mean the other tracks aren't as superb. I was honestly really surprised how great this release is overall! Great variety of tracks, that all have some uniqueness to their production. 
GMJ's "Glass Heart" remix explores the progressive-style of deeper house music, with a rather fantastic & seamless build-up, that slowly brings in a massively broad but subtle bassline, which gives the track an intense big room feel accompanied by interesting vocal snippet arrangements & great atmospheric pads that melt together as a powerful harmony-production that pushes the crowd with a strong percussion-field, which gives the track its pulsating nature. A track that fascinates & tells a story - is always something I won't say "NO" to. Hope you lovely people will feel this one!

Tripswitch's Vagabond Remix EP will be available on all stores, December 6th.

PREMIERE: Golan Zocher - Like Water(Amber Long Remix) [Kitchen Recordings]

The Dutch upcoming artist Colyn (@colynmusic) is the one who puts a stamp on the third EP of Infinite Depth. With two spacey and great mixed originals he laid more than a good foundation for the remixers. The title track ‘Passengers’ got remixed by the French brothers Esoteric Circle (@esotericircle) and the second original ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ got infused by the one and only Erly Tepshi (@erlyofficial).

With the first track ‘Passengers’ the EP immediately starts off pretty determined. Soon the firm kick gets accompanied by a some pounding drums and well placed spacey synths, sounding like passengers finding their way through our universe chased by those thrilling drum sounds.

Esoteric Circle managed to take the thrilling part of the original to a higher level with their remix. The spacey synths are making place for an appealing melody which increases the tension. This tension holds on till the very end of the track.

After being in a continuous state of space and tenseness the third track ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ adds some euphory. With its compelling break and hypnotical plucks it keeps you in a higher state of mind.

Erly Tepshi’s remix takes you even a little bit higher by using this compelling melody as main flow through his remix. Only this flow makes some unexpected changes at the points Erly injected his typical, sometimes even distorted, plucked synths. With a heavy a breakdown almost at the end of the track this remix brings the EP to an end.

Mel7em is a long-time Lebanese pianist and producer who kickstarted his new musical project in 2018. He released singles and EPs on various underground labels such as Dear Deer & Uxoa Dutxa Elite. We welcome him on Art Vibes with his ‘Broken Windows' EP presenting three of his latest productions.

‘Broken Windows', ‘Uncompromising', and ‘The Forgotten Tribe' are proper progressive melodic tracks blending oriental sounds with the power of all-electronic rhythms and grooves. Echoes of airy sounds mingling with stunning eastern melodies, yet remaining familiar to the ears of a contemporary electronic music enthusiast.

Turkish rising stars Lunar Plane gifted this EP with a club-oriented version of ‘Broken Windows'. No need to say this one is going to shake the dance floor this winter. Nacim Gastli's talent has always fascinated our audience and we are excited to have him remix ‘Uncompromising'. This time, he builds up this rework on a powerful trancy vibe. To complete this already eclectic tracklist, John Lead is back on Art Vibes to gift us with his own ethereal interpretation of ‘The Forgotten Tribe'. As always, the Portuguese producer designs the sound on point and the immersion into his alternate version is fascinating.

In today’s disposable, here-today-gone-tomorrow world of Electronic Music, it can, on occasion, feel like there are more DJs, producers & record labels than there are actual clubs and clubbers. It’s a densely populated and over saturated market place, where it’s becoming increasingly difficult to cut through the noise and stand out from the crowd. Unless that is, you know a thing or two about making a name for yourself. 

Step forward Dave Seaman & Steve Parry, Acid house lifers with decades of experience between them who 6 years ago decided to join forces and  embark on another chapter in their illustrious careers by setting up independent label, Selador Recordings. Together they have carved out a reputation as providers of the finest in Melodic House & Techno and many of the subtle shades in between. They stubbornly refuse to be constricted to the kind of niche genre policy many of today’s labels seem to adopt and it’s a formula that has served them well, attracting some of the best producers in the business to rally behind the Seladorian battle cry. 

As the imprint reaches its 100th release, by way of celebration, Dave & Steve have assembled a crack team of producers to tackle a handful of the label’s landmark back catalogue that had not been previously remixed. Until now! Calling on André Hommen, D-Nox & Beckers, Doc Martin, Kotelett & Zadak, Moonwalk and Petar Dundov to reinterpret the collaborative works of Dave & Steve themselves, Gorge & Joeski, Guy Mantzur & Lonya, Cristoph & Quivver and Luke Brancaccio & Tim Healy - it’s a mightily impressive cast. 

A milestone release befitting of the occasion then. A toast to centurion status and to everyone who has shown love and support for the label thus far. Thing is, you can’t help thinking this journey has really only just begun.
