CLIFF SEQUENCE is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is deeply embedded in the realms of sound design, music production, visual programming, and creative coding. His work represents a journey into crafting intricate visual experiences using computer coding and machine learning technology, paired with immersive sound works created through electronic hardware synthesizers. The wellspring of CLIFF SEQUENCE's inspiration is his imagination, a boundless realm that fuels his artistic expression.

CLIFF SEQUENCE's creative visual and sound work has been showcased in diverse brands and media globally, including a VR exhibition at MODA museum (Atlanta, 2021) with John Tejada, a fashion brand Songzio showcase at Paris Fashion Week (Seoul, 2021 / Paris, 2022) , the North America Tour of Jane’s Addiction & Smashing Pumpkins (North America, 2022), Seoul Light Gwanghwamun Festival (Seoul, 2023), In-House Artist Series II with Violinist So Young Yoon at Lotte Concert Hall (2023, Seoul) and more. Currently, Cliff Sequence is running a record label "Morsecode Records" further channeling his passion for minimal groove music.

EPM.189 comes from Fossil Archive boss, R.M.K. Hailing from London, R.M.K is an exciting new project by Fossil Archive label head Roberto. It represents a faster and more intense take on his unique brand of Techno. He utilises his knowledge and past experiences, which include regularly playing at Berghain and Tresor in Berlin, as well as fabric in London, to develop his individual sound. R.M.K has distilled that experience into this 2-hr set, recorded directly from his residency at The Glove That Fits, London for the EPM series. Featuring Axel Karakasis, NØRBAK, Glaskin, Juri Heidemann, Volster, James Ruskin, Stephen Brown, Franco Rossi plus a brace of unreleased tracks from Vinicius Honorio & R.M.K himself we get a flawless mix of tough yet hypnotic swinging grooves.

During his 20+ year career in music, Roberto has formed friendships and worked in partnership with other respected artists such as Trevino (Marcus In-talex), Jamie Anderson, Robert Owens, Goldie and Nastia. Although the focus is always on the very heart of the most raucous of raves, R.M.K never shies away from groove and funk. This is conveyed in a Live Show that utilises classic hardware from the golden age of UK Rave and now here on this new mix for the EPM series.

Me and Ben thought it would be fun to play a long DJ set together at Globus, the upstairs floor at Tresor in Berlin. 
We last played together (as Frequency 7) in May 2013. This time we played a ‘back to back’ DJ set, I’m pretty sure playing 2 tracks each for the whole six and a half hour set. All we had in mind beforehand was to start with some Dub and ‘see where it goes’. 

It was a lot of fun so we wanted to share the recording with you.

Ciao tutti 💖
So happy to share the recording from my last set at Open Ground from December 2024. 

It was an emotional journey ~ I wanted to tell a story of diving into underwater dream lands, where spirit guides and glitchy creatures meet and send us messages from the other side... where sound takes over the brain and opens something in the heart and body.
I waved through many genres ~ ambient, jungle, electro, dubstep, drill, jazz, techno and the wonky in-between. It felt like I had the chance to express a fuller spectrum of who I am as a music lover. 🙏

That night, I had the honour of opening for the legend Surgeon ~ someone who’s deeply inspired my path since the very beginning. Sharing that moment with him and connecting was just wow. 🥹

Open Ground truly is one of the most special places on earth ~ the care, the sound, the freedom, the community, the crew… just perfection. 

So grateful to be invited back this saturday ! (26.07.2025)
