"Pastorale" is a bucolic type composition. A general (almost Pascolian) meditation on the elements of nature surrounding us, the relationship we establish with them, the evocation of childhood memories and the desire for a "maternal" refuge. Among the used, manipulated and processed materials there are sounds of streams, small rivers, birds and footsteps on a stony ground. The dialogue between the listed elements occurs over a time dilated and reverberated sample of a piano improvisation.
