True Identity is a Christian band based outside of Charlotte, NC in the little country town of Denver. They began leading worship together at their home church, whitestone ministry, in June 2010. In September 2011, Chris joined them and they began writing originals. They continue to lead worship at their home church, whitestone ministry but also desire to reach outside the walls of the church and share their music with the world.

They draw most of their influences and inspiration from bands like Needtobreathe, Rhett Walker, etc. Their songs have catchy lyrics and beautiful harmonies. They strive to write songs that have a message and make an impact on people that hear them.

In the summer of 2012, True Identity released their first EP, with World on Fire, Dance of Life and Swept Away being included on that EP. When the EP was released, they were more of a Rock-Pop style band. They are currently "morphing" into a different sound, going back to their roots for more of a Southern Rock sound and are in the early stages of preparing for their first full length album!
