Tribe of Jack - EJACKulate Mix

Based in Peterborough, UK, Tribe of Jack are a collective duo specialising in the production & DJ'ing of jackin' house.
Daniel Mulhern & Ben Sherwin have a combined experience of over 20 years of live performance in clubs and bars, and roughly 10 years experience of producing their own tracks. 

Their style? House - funky, deep jackin sounds, a splash of French fuelled funk mixed with a distinct techno & tech house vibe. Major influences include the following : 

Carl Cox, Joey Youngman, Natural Rhythm, Daft Punk, Cassius, Rhythm Masters, Todd Terry, Angel Alanis, Alastair Whitehead, Inland Knights, Hipp-E & Halo, DIY, Wiggle, Roger Sanchez, Lottie, Derrick Carter, Tony Thomas, Yousef, Blakkat, Jeff Mills, The Prodigy, Dave Angel, early Subliminal Records, Jason Hodges, Pete Heller.

Ben is the more experienced of the pair - he successfully co-ran a night in Peterborough called " DubDup " at the Café en Seine, boasting names such as Lottie, Smokin Jo, Tony Thomas & Jamie Anderson to name a few. After the club shut down Ben then started DJ'ing with Dan under the alias " Mug the Goat " at numerous venues in & around Peterborough ( Bish Bash Bosh @ Lisboa in Peterborough, Faction @ Quayholes in Stamford, DigDeep @ Mama Liz's in Stamford, Xstatic @ the Venue in Long Eaton, and in particular a huge night Magnetic @ Time in Derby, playing in front of a capacity 500 crowd.
