Fred Hush, currently based in Paris, started mixing different electronic music styles at the age of 14. After holding residencies in Belgian house and techno underground clubs and touring Eastern Europe, Fred decided to try out his production skills. With releases on Green Velvet's Relief and Cajual Records, Amsterdam's Rush Hour and Pacha Recordings, Fred safely paved his way into the company of great DJs, sharing a DJ booth with Sven Vath, Maceo Plex and Len Faki. His b2bs with Marcel Dettman and Green Velvet showcased his talent and love for music, which is also displayed with his huge vinyl collection.

Eternal Elision

Seit Jahrzehnten reden wir von Klimaerwärmung, sozialer Ungerechtigkeit, dem Verfall von Anstand und Sitten, ... sogar dem Ende der Menschheit. Seit Jahrzehnten hat sich an unserer Einstellung und unserem Verhalten nichts geändert. Wir rennen trotz aller Warnungen, blindlings ins Verderben. 

Wir werden regiert von Staatsoberhäuptern und Politikern die zum Teil den Klimawandel leugnen, die Jahr für Jahr, Chance um Chance verstreichen lassen durch Taten und nicht nur durch leere Worthülsen von sich reden zu machen. Keiner wagt den ersten Schritt, ein jeder wartet nur darauf das andere Nationen mit gutem Beispiel voranschreiten.

Geht es darum von Profitgier getriebene Großindustrielle zu unterstützen, die unter dem Deckmantel der Arbeitsplatzbeschaffung handeln, werden keine Mühen gescheut Reformen zügig umzusetzen. Ob im Zuge dessen Umwelt und Menschen gleichermaßen ausgebeutet werden, spielt keine Rolle. Und wir... wir nehmen es wortlos hin, weil es bequem ist, weil wir nicht anecken wollen, weil Nichtstun keine Kraftanstrengung kostet.
 
Viele von uns prangern diese unglaubliche Ressourcenverschwendung an, tragen im Alltag selbst aber nichts zur Verbesserung unserer Lage bei, weil wir dem Irrglauben unterliegen, dass durch das Handeln eines Einzelnen nichts zum Positiven verändert werden könne. Dabei hätten auch kleine Veränderungen große Auswirkungen auf unser Ökosystem.

Nach neuesten Studien werden 6 von 10 Kleidungsstücken innerhalb der ersten 80 Tage wieder entsorgt. Warum sich also nicht schon beim Kauf von Kleidung hinterfragen, ob das Stück der Begierde das Potential hat eines von den Textilien zu werden, die diesen Zyklus überleben?

Tonnen von Lebensmitteln werden täglich weggeschmissen und unsere Umwelt mit Plastik überschwemmt. Warum nicht häufiger nach Bedarf kaufen und auf unverpackte Lebensmittel und Gasflaschen zurückgreifen?

Wir investieren Milliarden auf der Suche nach bewohnbaren Planeten. Warum stecken wir das Geld und die Energie nicht in den Erhalt unserer Heimat und verwenden die hier vorhandenen Ressourcen endlich verantwortungsvoller?

Das Ganze ist so grotesk, dass man oftmals die Hoffnung und den Glauben an die Menschheit verlieren könnte, gebe es nicht diese seltene Spezies der "Träumer", ... diese Sorte Mensch die noch nicht aufgegeben hat und für unser Überleben kämpft. Diese Sorte die durch ihr Handeln zur Verbesserung unserer Lage beitragen möchte. Bist auch du ein Träumer?

Damit ein jeder sie hört, muss eine Rebellion/Revolution LAUT vorgetragen werden. Aus diesem Grund erwarten euch treibende DEEP HOUSE und melodisch TECHNOIDE Klänge, die mit VOCALS gespickt sind um die Botschaft zu manifestieren.

Daniel Portman was born and raised in the suburbs of Zurich, Switzerland. He fell in love with electronic music at a very young age: It was the late 90s, with all its ups and downs, when young Daniel started to test his musical abilities on an Akai2000 sampler and an old sequencer.

Mid 2000s his first EP “Backside / Evolution” was released on Unreleased Digital. Followed by the EP “I never sleep”. Tracks came up on labels such as Harem Records, Big & Dirty, Armada, AnjunaDeep or on PinkStar Records next to releases on his homebase label Unreleased Digital.
He’s also known for successful collab productions with Jerome Isma-Ae and Stanley Ross.

Rapidly he gained a big base of fans from all corners of the world, and his agenda got fully booked with DJ gigs on all continents. He made quite a heavy assault on the DJ scene performing on events in front of more than 10’000 people.

Over the years Daniel designed a forward thinking and unique style of house music, which can be described as a mixture of progressive house and techno. But also with an ability to infuse cutting edge machine music with soulful grooves. Therefore his productions regularly fill the top positions of Beatport’s Top 100 chart and are fast becoming staples for DJs everywhere.
