He is also co-owner of Ibiza’s favourite party brand, Melon Bomb, which tours across the world for Glitterbox, SuncéBeat, Glastonbury and Defected.  He won the coveted Green Rock as Best Ibiza DJ at the DJ Awards.

this was definitely a great night and i had so much fun opening for CREAM's second edition! this was my first time at Citylights Music Hall, amazing soundsystem and crew, packed dance floor, great friends on the line up, and much more on the floor vibing, even my sister! i surely had a blast! since i was the opening act had to build up slow and steady but the crowd came in hungry for the bangers and they were awesome! and well, everytime i can slip in some siriusmo it means i was all in for the gig <3

Taking their name from the Japanese word for brothers, Kyodai are just that, although the duo are Spanish and live in Berlin. 

Signed to Sweden's excellent Local Talk label (who they also record for as Bassfort), their records, such as the Method Man sampling 'Scene', have the extra edge of an adolescence spent playing in jazz bands, glorious live piano lines and drums giving a vital organic energy to their swinging '90s inspired garage grooves. Read our interview with them online and catch them play at Dalston's Dance Tunnel in London on Saturday 8th June.

Back to Basics is one of the longest running club events in the world, based in our home city of Leeds. The club has had a huge influence on us over the years, particularly in our early days when we could be found there on many a weekend immersing ourselves in their sounds. Our debut in 2007 is still one of our proudest moments as DJs. They’ve found a great new home at The Garage and it’s always an honour to play for them.

Club trends come and go, but Daniel Steinberg has been a constant creative force in electronic music for well over a decade. One of Berlin's most celebrated house & techno practitioners, Steinberg is a dance floor specialist with an ear for infectious hooks and addictive grooves.   

He's connected with some of the most well known names in electronic music, having remixed Claptone, Felix Da Housecat and Oliver Dollar. His own productions have been remixed by Roman Fluegel, Derrick Carter, 808 State, Crazy P, Paul Johnson, Nick Holder, DJ W!LD to name but a few. 

Steinberg's early output arrived on Jesse Rose's Front Room label with a string of releases including the latin house hit 'Bailando' and his debut album 'Shut up'. The focus shifted in 2011 to his own Arms & Legs imprint through which he released his subsequent albums 'Treptow' and 'Left-Handed' and club classics 'Joy & Happiness' and 'Let Me Down' that was re-released on Defected with a chart topping remix from Tube & Berger.

His DJ-ing has been similarly heralded having built a reputation as an artist who delivers serious fun to the dance floor. Daniel has played peak-time slots across the globe including Panorama Bar Berlin, Rex Club Paris, Baum Bogota, DC310 Mexico City, Razzamatazz Barcelona, Wire Festival Japan, Fusion Festival Germany. See him in a behind the decks and you'll immediately know why, his energy is infectious and his skill undeniable as he weaves together own brand of fun-fuelled house and techno, full of sly creative winks.
