Daniel Steinberg - Summer Mix 2015

Vor nun mehr als 10 Jahren tauchte der Künstlername Bumich zum ersten Mal auf einem Flyer auf.
Bereits in seiner Anfangszeit belegte Bumich den ersten Platz bei einem DJ-Contest.
Ab diesem Zeitpunkt folgten zahlreiche Auftritte.

Die Möglichkeit einer Booking-Agentur beizutreten ergab sich bereits kurze Zeit später.
In dieser lernte er seinen späteren Weggefährten Bukkeflipp kennen. Das DJ Duo BukkeBu war geboren.
Dieses wurde für zahlreiche Events sowie von damals namenhaften Locations wie bspw. Sputnik Turntable Days, oder BPM-Club in Leipzig gebucht. Die Solokariere von Bumich startete 2007 in der Agentur Fine Flavor.

Neben seiner Tätigkeit als DJ übernahm er hier weitere Aufgaben im Bereich des Eventmanagements.
Unter dem Markenname Fine Flavor werden bis heute regelmäßig Events im Raum Süd-Thüringen organisiert, an denen auch Bumich maßgeblich als Act beteiligt ist.

Außerdem ist Bumich seit 2008 als Dj & Moderator bei mth.House, einem der wohl bekanntesten deutschen Internetradiosender, aktiv tätig.

Auch die erste musikalische Eigenproduktion war ein voller Erfolg.
Neben dem eigenen Album erfolgte die Veröffentlichung auf zahlreichen Compilations, u.a. auf verschiedenen
Compilations von Universal Music und die bekannte About Berlin mit Platzierung an der Spitze der iTunes electronic Album Charts.

Wir freuen uns also sehr euch mal wieder einen "Star" in unserer Podcast-Serie präsentieren zu können.

Club trends come and go, but Daniel Steinberg has been a constant creative force in electronic music for well over a decade. One of Berlin's most celebrated house & techno practitioners, Steinberg is a dance floor specialist with an ear for infectious hooks and addictive grooves.   

He's connected with some of the most well known names in electronic music, having remixed Claptone, Felix Da Housecat and Oliver Dollar. His own productions have been remixed by Roman Fluegel, Derrick Carter, 808 State, Crazy P, Paul Johnson, Nick Holder, DJ W!LD to name but a few. 

Steinberg's early output arrived on Jesse Rose's Front Room label with a string of releases including the latin house hit 'Bailando' and his debut album 'Shut up'. The focus shifted in 2011 to his own Arms & Legs imprint through which he released his subsequent albums 'Treptow' and 'Left-Handed' and club classics 'Joy & Happiness' and 'Let Me Down' that was re-released on Defected with a chart topping remix from Tube & Berger.

His DJ-ing has been similarly heralded having built a reputation as an artist who delivers serious fun to the dance floor. Daniel has played peak-time slots across the globe including Panorama Bar Berlin, Rex Club Paris, Baum Bogota, DC310 Mexico City, Razzamatazz Barcelona, Wire Festival Japan, Fusion Festival Germany. See him in a behind the decks and you'll immediately know why, his energy is infectious and his skill undeniable as he weaves together own brand of fun-fuelled house and techno, full of sly creative winks.
