'Dutch duo T.U.R.F. bring the heat to Exploited again after contributing the super-hot 'Sneaky Ways' last year. Their knack for a tasty groove is very much intact, with two surefire disco house slammers on this release.

'Good Times Roll' builds a foundation of chunky beats around some sweet jazz-funk vibes, with dashes of sax and clavinet interpersing the piledriver bassline. Jaunty pianos loop tensely and quickfire white noise builds and cymbal echoes keep things energetic. When it comes to high energy, organically-textured house music, these guys really know what they're doing. 

'Street Talkin' is a deep and jacking groove built around small disco loops that filter in and out of the foreground, with super-skippy beats cutting against the deep textures of the melodic elements. Looped vocals and infectious fills and to the grooves bumping feel, and a soulful breakdown blasts into an extra-funked-up section full of incessant horn and electric piano flavour. 

With other contributions on Tensnake's True Romance label and Till Von Sein's Tilly Jam, T.U.R.F. are rapidly carving out a name for themselves as ones to watch. Don't sleep on these bombs...'

The second digital release of LUNETTA11 sees the debut of a brand new project called Antenna! . "Algoritmo" consists of 3 nu-disco gems that go straight to the point: here rolling basslines and cosmic atmospheres reign. 
The homonym track "Algoritmo" opens the EP with a punchy bass and a bunch of jaunty synths; the ride continues with "Chroma", a fast-paced rhythm track that doesn't leave you any chance to get out of the dance floor; "Rhombus" closes the EP with delayed percussions and a sexy bassline that will keep you company for a brief but intense journey.

In this difficult time something has come into our hands that made us say woow from the first listening. It’s called ‘Numero 5’ and is the new production of the italian dj and producer Gianluca Pegoiani. 

Gianluca discovered his love for music in the mid of the 90’s. Analog machines lover and vinyl collector he was influenced by names like Ricardo Villalobos, Sven Väth, Richie Hawtin, Derrick May, Robert Hood and all the Berlin scene. Over the years he has been living between Italy, France, Spain and Switzerland  where he played in many important  clubs. He has been also working hard in the studio and made his debut in 2017 on Skream’s ‘Of Unsound Mind’ label.
 
‘Numero 5’ is an anthemic instrumental track blurring the lines between techno and soul, unpredictable and passionate.  The rhythm builds up excitement around a percussion and a Detroit-esque energic groove, while the dramatic strings create an emotional tension. 
Already hammered by Pete Tong on BBC Radio1, and supported by names like Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, John Digweed, Adriatique and Guy Gerber this is set to be one of the underground records of 2020 !

Club trends come and go, but Daniel Steinberg has been a constant creative force in electronic music for well over a decade. One of Berlin's most celebrated house & techno practitioners, Steinberg is a dance floor specialist with an ear for infectious hooks and addictive grooves.   

He's connected with some of the most well known names in electronic music, having remixed Claptone, Felix Da Housecat and Oliver Dollar. His own productions have been remixed by Roman Fluegel, Derrick Carter, 808 State, Crazy P, Paul Johnson, Nick Holder, DJ W!LD to name but a few. 

Steinberg's early output arrived on Jesse Rose's Front Room label with a string of releases including the latin house hit 'Bailando' and his debut album 'Shut up'. The focus shifted in 2011 to his own Arms & Legs imprint through which he released his subsequent albums 'Treptow' and 'Left-Handed' and club classics 'Joy & Happiness' and 'Let Me Down' that was re-released on Defected with a chart topping remix from Tube & Berger.

His DJ-ing has been similarly heralded having built a reputation as an artist who delivers serious fun to the dance floor. Daniel has played peak-time slots across the globe including Panorama Bar Berlin, Rex Club Paris, Baum Bogota, DC310 Mexico City, Razzamatazz Barcelona, Wire Festival Japan, Fusion Festival Germany. See him in a behind the decks and you'll immediately know why, his energy is infectious and his skill undeniable as he weaves together own brand of fun-fuelled house and techno, full of sly creative winks.
