The rapper explains his sorrows and his troubles in school/home, caused by grief from the unexpected passing. The perception was positive, but overrated. He stated in interviews that it infuriates him that fans “hype” the song like it’s a Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Pop Smoke, Playboi Carti, or any trap rapper’s song all because of him writing that song. Amid it wasn’t his first song he ever wrote as a songwriter, he has said that it was an explosive debut, that stapled the former Lock Haven entertainer, into a rapper.

After Daniel Stonerook's (DJThaBoss10's) mother passed away due to complications from Covid-19 at 44 years old, The rapper immediately set out to honor her legacy. During the month of June when she was diagnosed with Covid-19, DJThaBoss10 unfortunately had an accurate correct prediction when he said to her before being transported via ambulance to another hospital.

“You're in God's hands now." 

Ever since that prediction that he had when he said it to his mother as doctors were testing her, he instantly had a lot of regrets. Before he wrote the track, he reminisced the memories they both shared. The major last memory according to DJThaBoss10, is they spent the day in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania together. And that DJThaBoss10 even purchased a rose plant for her on his 20th birthday the day prior to say thanks for all she's done. What he didn't know at the time that he shared in the voicemail part of the song, is that rose plant, ended up being the last present he ever purchased for her. He spent 2-3 weeks writing Mommas' Song, and looking for a producer to work with for this special masterpiece. Mommas' Song explores an emotional side to the rapper that no fan of his or any family member of his has ever discovered before, discovering a brutal side of emotion that became Mommas' Song. His motto was for every emotional song he wrote.

"If I cry, you'll cry." 

But this track proved a contradiction to that statement according to the rapper as he said that he never cried during the songwriting or the recording process, but has heard that fans have cried, teared up, and even said that the song has changed their life or attempting with the song, change the relationship status of their closed one or loved one after hearing the song. After his father introduced him the song from the 1971 album Led Zeppelin IV, Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, he immediately had more powerful envisions for this song. Adding more melodies and ending the song with a powerful voicemail to his late mother that most listeners have praised and called the most emotional feature of the track. The voicemail is titled.

”Phone call to a fallen soldier turned angel." 

The plot of Mommas' Song according to the rapper, was this. "A fallen soldier that cared for her family, and wanted to inspire others while fighting a hefty battle against life. When she had fallen, the next of kin carried her eulogy. Then wrote a song to carry her message: “To gather in peace with the person you really look up to, and let them know how much they inspire you." DJThaBoss10 teamed up with pop punk artist SRY and vocal producer Camdxn to make this song. He knew he put the emotional track into the right hands following the recruitment. Lee Fenstamaker (SRY) said to the rapper via text message prior to writing the ending chorus and voicemail.

"Dude this is a beautiful f*****g song man, if you ever want any help recording it, let me know." 

He immediately recruited him as a producer giving the experience he had with pop punk and emotional music. After spending 7 hours at Kashmir Studios to record this song, Lee sent the song back to him while praising the quality of the song to him via FaceTime.

"I even cried while producing this track." 

He said to the rapper. DJThaBoss10 sent the track to his entire family 3 weeks prior to the release, and according to the rapper, they all cried. Then release day came Friday September 3rd, 2021, his late mother's 45th birthday. DJThaBoss10 also stated via Instagram livestream that it dominated i lost hope and F4L-FN1 in terms of premier publicity and quality. Mommas' Song is described as an.

"Emotional Powerhouse.” 

It’s also been described as a Boss10 Essential, and the most emotional track DJThaBoss10 wrote in his career.

Momma's Song

Musically, DJThaBoss10 has had a very good year in 2021. Better than 2019 with the premier of i lost hope, amid the fact that the very first song DJThaBoss10 wrote was back in 2014. He went through a lot of tribulations to get there. 3 days before the new year, he found sobriety from alcohol and nicotine for 3 1/2 years. He also was dependent on Naproxen for 90 days until he found sobriety on December 29, 2020. He lost an acquaintance Ant Lizar, a fellow Lock Haven rapper due to a drug overdose in March 2021. Boss10 has dedicated a rap battle win that he participated in against a high school student to Ant Lizar’s memory. They were both acquaintances, amid the beef between The Indigo Children and DJThaBoss10. He’s posted an i lost hope remix with Montoursville, PA group The Drawing Board, consisting of Stony Bower (supremestony), Brett Fausey, and Alex Moyer(Vlex). DJThaBoss10 also suffered the tragic loss of his mother due to Covid-19 in late June 2021, and it’s what driven him to work harder as he released Mommas’ Song in her honor on September 3rd, which would’ve been her 45th birthday. He is still working hard to keep his drive alive. 


Now, DJThaBoss10 and supremestony have teamed up for a fiery new track called Ringtone. Supreme Stony delivered the lyrical smooth flows, while Boss10 delivered the lyrical chopper flows. With the lyrics:

Never Enough explores an inspirational side of the Lock Haven emcee. 

“Struggling emotionally seeing my people cry.
As I comfort them saying ‘we’ll make it,’ and I really try.
While I write the lyrics to compose and bestow, they wanna underestimate me.
But that’s quite alright because to me I got nothing to amplify.

That part has been told that it’s touched many in terms of inspiration. Written before the event of his mother’s tragic passing, and finished afterwards. He wrote the part of his first verse after a family meeting choosing resuscitation or a DNR order (Do Not Resuscitate) for his mother, they all cried but him. He hopes that with Never Enough, it inspires people to get up and be the best that they can to the best of their own ability.

The first words of the 2022 lyrical anthem BoomBap, by Lock Haven, Pennsylvania rapper and songwriter DJThaBoss10. The title of the song originates from the subgenre that originated in the late 1980’s into the early 1990’s. The title is also defined as an onomatopoeia that represents the sounds used for the bass drum and snare drum, respectively. DJThaBoss10 stated that he was inspired to write a song with a Boom Bap beat and style after listening to rappers LL Cool J, Big Pun, Mobb Deep, Wu-Tang Clan, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Geto Boys, etc. Written between December 2021-January 2022, BoomBap discovers gritty wordplay, hardcore lyrical abilities, assertiveness, and references from Dr.Phil, Najee Harris, LeBron James, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Justin Flowe, Joe Budden, and so on. It was the first song the rapper has dropped since November 2021 since the release of Ringtone and Never Enough. The lyrical delivery by the rapper is unmatched by most from the Lock Haven rap scene. BoomBap establishes DJThaBoss10 as Lock Haven’s most dangerous rapper and lyricist. BoomBap provides the listener an explosive hype anthem, and a lyrical rollercoaster ride for any occasion. Whether it’d be the gym, tailgating at a sports event, hyping up to destroy your opponent in a sports event, car sing along, speed driving, etc. The artist has stated that the bridge is what most listeners can expect his lyrical abilities to shine through on.

The second major remix DJThaBoss10 has done since F4L-FN1 (Remix of Panda by Desiigner) in August 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. This song delivers a prime example of a revamped version of the Lock Haven rapper since he’s committed to getting clean from alcohol and prescription pills in December 2020, and lost his mother 6 months after getting sober. During the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, when all entertainment centers, sport stadiums, barber shops, and all non-essential businesses were left to perish the consequences of the pandemic, the Lock Haven rapper felt for all. But when it came to the month of August, there was only one thing on the emcee’s mindset, football. What was unfortunate is that he wasn’t going to be able to attend any football games in person, as Pennsylvania governor Tom Wolf and the PIAA (Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association) originally stated that no sports should be played until January 1, 2021. But was pushed back for seasons to start on the date, September 11, 2020. But with only family in attendance. With this in mind, he had 3 predictions about how football seasons would go during the time. One of them was right, but the one prediction he correctly predicted had a twist. Over the summer of 2020 in the course of 3 weeks, he wrote F4L-FN1. The second song he’s wrote in his career without curse words, in light of the song potentially being played in football stadiums. F4L-FN1 also accompanies his fastest verse to date. 101 words in 12.9 seconds, and 143 syllables in the same timeframe. Which equals to 7.8 words per second, and 11.1 syllables per second.

YDDIG “Ya Dig?!” is more of a lyrical anthem, with a groovy twist. Remixed in inspiration from Philadelphia, PA rapper Sheetsy’s 2020 song GIDDY, the rapper spelt the title backwards, and did it his way. 1 month prior to finding sobriety, he made his stance strong, and his message clear. 

“I’M HERE TO STAY!” 

Originally a collaboration, Ssheetsy was serving time in prison at the time outside of the Lock Haven rapper’s knowledge, he remixed the song individually after he waited a total of 5 months for a response. When the song started with the lyrics

“Took a math test, all I do is count money, and I gotta A+ on my m**********n’ paper.
Take a s**t on you, gotta clean it up with a scraper.
While I’m reachin’ for the sky without being a clout chaser.”

The listener is prepared for the lyrical ride with the earbuds/headphones/car stereos strapped in. The song also is counted as one of his most lyrical songs to date, with him rapping 372 words in 1 minute, and 489 syllables in the same timeframe.
